Saleen S7 has it's weight split reversed and incorrect. Listed in the game as 53:47 F/R when the car is actually 40:60 F/R.

Anyone know how heavy the F40 is now? The dealership lists it as ---kg. In GT5 it was 1100kg at the dealership (which basically every other source including the actual car's paperwork agrees with) and then suddenly jumped to 1352kg once you bought it.

The 2006 Focus ST doesn't have all the colours it can in. In game, its only Orange, Black & Blue. PD missed of Grey, Silver, White & Red. Also, where are the options to have the racing stripe aswell. Other cars have them as a paint option.

Make sure you check the year of the stats for that car, the one in GT5 and GT6 is the very last year that car was produced. So the weight might have changed, not sure why it would go up but it happens...but 200 kilos that's a lot of heft since the car seemed to have lighter weight parts than it's original form.

Some of the stats on most of the cars are missing, but are there when you buy the car and tune it. Why do I have to actually buy the car to know it's HP?

How much is that --- kg?

The Shelby GT350 has the wrong displacement...the cc's come out in cubic inches to the ford 260 , all shelby GT350's had " ford 350's "

Anyone notice that all the cars are 1000ths is inches wide too? There's a comma in there.

The M3 E92 weighs more than it should too, it's like the weight they have in there is with someone already inside, which would be fine if all the other cars were aswell. It weighs 1655kg in the game where it should weight 1580kg, it was like this since GT5.

Gillet Vertigo has ~900 HP and weights 710 kg. That's just criminal when it should have ~400 HP and 1000kg.The R390 Race car is also overpowered a bit with 800ish hp and a few Kgs lighter

They still haven't fixed the engine size in the description for the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 '69. The description says '320 cubic inch', when it should say 302. I just checked the game & the CC's equal up to 302ci, so it's most likely just a typo.

CLK LM, BMW McLaren F1 GTR, Panoz Esperante GTR-1 all should be 900-920kg. Not 1000, 950 and 1150 respectively.

Ford does not have a 350 CI V8 the 350 in GT350 is just a random # and not a indication of displacement. As 88foxbodyfan said the GT350 has a 289/4.7 V8.
Actually the number is not as random as you think, but still has a very strange story to it. I think I read on Vintange Mustang Forums that the name came to be when someone asked how many steps it was from one building to another. Carroll Shelby said "about 350" & thats how the name came to be.

Lister storm race car should be either 1000 or 1050Kg depending on what source you use for the weight, in game I believe it is over 1300Kg.

Still.

I have the Motor Trend tribute to Carroll Shelby magazine and it has a small insert from Carroll Shelby about the origin of the name. Here is what Mr. Shelby said:

I remember when Iacocca wanted us to build the GT350. We had five or six meetings. A planeload of people came from Detroit trying to decide what to call it. And after about the third meeting, I said "If Nissan can have Ladybird as the name of their sport car, a name doesn't make a car. A car makes a name."

So we were all sitting around there (Shelby's facilities at Los Angeles International Airport), and I said to one of our guys, "How far is it to that building over there?"

And he said, "What the hell are you talking about?"

And I said, "Step it off."

He came back and said, "It's 348 paces."

I said, "We're going to call it the GT350, and you guys can go back to Detroit."

RIP Carroll Shelby
