NOTES:
This car was a monster to tune...took me forever to figure this out...but it's good enough for me to manage a 6:25 (beating the mclaren f1). One important thing is to make sure you let off and tap the brake for the crest after the first checkpoint (~40-45 sec) because this car will fly away due to the low front downforce
 
Is the power limiter 100% for the GT-R '07? i dont remember how much PP it have fully tuned... :)

Yea it's 100%
could only get 646pp I think. It's not the best car, but I have a lot of fun beating gt500 cars with a street car
 
I like the GT-R :) i will also give it a try when i have time, look like i'll have a lot of car to test! :dopey:
 
Would you mind possibly posting your tunes? Cause your times are amazing...and it's for more reasons than just you being a great driver... You are a hell of a tuner too

no problem, i will post the tunes i used for the 787B and the GTone and the next ones.

For the LMPs, what i tend to change (to my liking), is the diff settings, gearing, brake bias, and ballast weight position, i tuned most LMPs to 950kg, and adjusted the ballast to the desired amount of oversteer/understeer, then smoothened the feel with the diff, and suspension if needed.

the gearing will also affect oversteer and understeer.

the suspension will help more or less depending of the car, for the 787B i barely touched it.

I will post the tunes tomorow after work. :)



By the way, I will be working on the gt40 and mark IV next

Just hit a 6:27 with this :indiff: I know it can hit lower. See this is the advantage of having mike gt3 here, cause he can pull a flawless lap and get the real time.

The Tune is basicly Praiano63's with a few aero, power and transmission modifications. Praiano can tune a car to perfection, that man is a tuning master mind.

Ok, i did some testings, problem is i thought the tune i made would automaticaly remain intact when borrowing the car again from MrSpark.
But i lost them...

-Audi R8 LMP '01 : 5:42.934, can go in 5:42 but i dont think i personaly can hit 5:41 with it.

-Audi R8 LMP '05 5:44 , slightly slower acceleration and slighty less turn-in.

-Audi R10, 5:48 good power(shift early, no power on top end...) but poor turn-in, tune to turn-in and it will be hard to exit low speed corners, tune for stability and it will understeer...

-Courage Judd V5 5:43 had to tune it more than other to make it turn, it has a lot of understeer stock, its tricky to drive to the limit.

-Currently trying the V12 LMR, not even completed a lap, but from the 3 first split i doubt this car will keep up with the 787B and GTone. Still need more tuning though...



On the LMPs so far i started the diff at:

initial 10
accel 12
decel 10



The R8 '01 and '05 used this tune
diff
initial 10
accel 10
decel 5

suspension, just decrease the compression on spring from 8 to 6.
rear toe set to 25 for the '01 and for the '05 set it to 15

ballast, make it weight 950kg for the '01 (position 10) and 975kg for '05(position 30)

adjust power to hit 650pp, no turbo upgrades, you will get more power if the oil is dirty.

brake bias 6/4

gearing for all LMP and most cars i do the following, reset gearing, then set final ratio all the way to right, top speed all the way to left,
then 1st gear all the way to left, same for the second gear all the way to left.

then adjust the 4th-5th gear to make a straight line from 3rd gear to 6th gear(using the beginning of the line of each gears ...on the bottom...) (in case of a 5 speed, just set the 4th to make a straight line (that will give close to the optimal acceleration... and then i set the last gear (5th or 6th depend of transmission..) slightly closer/shorter (moving cursor to the left...)

it may happen the line will go downward in the last gears, just adjust those shorter so the engine dont lose power on the gear shift, especially on the uphill area of the track.
Then i set the final ratio to desired top speed, for the R8 and most LMP i set it so the speed on the little screen top right is 363kmh/226mph.

Some will require more, those with lot of torque but no top end like the R92 Nissan, Audi R10 etc...

i hope i described it well enought... my english is not 100%, let me know if you have questions, i'll try to write down the tune before switching cars next time. :scared:

Indeed, i have all classics, but i think the 2D is unparalled when it comes to beauty, and i think its the fastest.
 
Have you tried the Sauber Mike? BTW when your done with these LMP I will put up the Classics, which are-

The Sauber did 5:48 if i remember.
The R8 unfortunatly couldnt beat the 787B or GTone, in some corners its faster than both, but the 787B and GTone just had too much power, on a tighter track the R8 would be faster probably.

On the sector/split just before the long straight, the 787B and GTone had a 5:04 time, i had a 5:04 with the R8 as well, and im sure it could do 5:03, but it lost a full second on the last part that include the long straight.... 325kmh vs 338kmh, the R8 will cross the Audi banner at the beginning of the straightaway at 280kmh, and the GTone already hit 290kmh, may be id need to add more ballast to add more power, might try that as well.

You can put on share the classsics :), but id like to keep the V12 LMR, thats the last i need to test, might retest the Sauber with the car lineup i found that work best.

I just bought the Ford Mark IV, you can share a different one, i have the Jaguar XJ13 as well :)

I dont know if theres any missing in your list. Thx for sharing :)
