I will give them a try after the classics, or may be before the classics.. :D
Without traffic i had a lap at 6:07 with a fully tuned GT-R '07 without the rear wing.
But the traffic will slow it down for sure, will have to try. :dopey:

all depends how lucky you are to pass the others ( and if you could sneak use them to go arround the corner a little bit faster )

I've driven a few times in 5 min 50+ with the speed 8 before, its my fav in game, cus it has for me a great handeling, Very tricky if you step to soon on the throttle and then its byebye fast time. Try to drive that car non stop on the ring and see it yourselve. Thats how i give setups on my cars.


The camaro is a great car, even beyond my own imagination, i never tought it would be fast, feels slow.

From now on, i'll take pictures of my screen to proove
 
The Minolta cannot meet the 650PP requierment i think.

Did another run with the 787B, its really fast!

it did 5:41.216, theres some room for improvement but i think i'll leave it there, its hard to get the car at the right place vs the AI, a little mistake and they slow you down a lot.

The first lineup was very good for the 787B, getting in front of the McLaren before the
3rd sector, best 3rd sector was 1:26.993.

Lets say :
-Nissan RC89
-Audi R8 LMP race car '01
-C60 Hybride
-Toyota 7 if it meet the 650pp
-Toyota GTone
-Courage C60

Heres the setup i used for the 787B,
only thing i did was:

set compression on the shock at :8/6

diff:
intial:10
accel 12
decel 5

ballast:
120kg/5 position

gears: move final ratio on complete right, move top speed complete left, the 1st gear complete left, same for 2nd gear, then set:
1st: 2.878
2nd:1.975
3rd: 1.605
4th: 1.293
5th: 1.038
Final ratio 3.492

Using the method i described in a previous post the car ended with 600hp at 654PP after the best lap. i tried the difference on the 0-1000m test and it was about a car lenght difference at 585hp vs 595hp to give an idea.
What did you do with the aero?

Did you used SRF ?
i can see it done on srf , i was not slowed down that much on my 5:44 laptime i just want to see where i lose as much time, 6 seconds.

explain SRF?

Like mrspark said SRF will help make the car handle better, you can change it off in the menu where you can start the race, right next to the setup option for your cars. Most people only use ABS set to 1.

Nicely done Shoe :) will try those tune when i have time! nice to see some kind of data out of those test, i thought the 2J would dominate this but it doesnt.

How do you reach those times when mike is running perfect laps and only getting 5:40s
 
Tried the Minolta and at the first try it didnt felt as fast as the top LMP, i stopped after one complete lap, 5:48 it doesnt have a good top end power, but it has a lot of cornering grip. :)
My G27 brake pedal also seem to cause me some problems, im full throttle and all of sudden i lose power, at first i thought i was pressing teh brakes in same time (i drive with both foot) and i seen the brakes at 1/4 applied without touching the brakes... grrr :(

Those are probably laps at full PP without AI car on the track.

From what i've seen, they are identical. Im not sure why they wasted their time on this.I mean, it's really not that used, and there are faster LMP's. If they have time for this car, which is from the '80s and isn't from japan, they should have plenty of time for more.
