I make mine to be arround 1000 or 2000 hp. More is not hard to handle but seems crazy. I did make a few half a million and higher hp cars. It is quite simple, all you gotta do is modify line 440 =. Notice how for all the cars it is set at -1 (meaning zero on mk's program). Crank that up and you got yourself delicious power. But that is all, power. It's pretty awesome but lower hp lets you control the car much better.
Try it. Just mod the 440 value. Don't go too high because the program won't be able to recognize it. I think the max I tried was 65536. That sets it to 65.536 multiplier.
Put it in and wait for the engine to emit a strange noise. It's sounds like a digital stopwatch. You want to have traction and stability managment on. It will rev to the max and then yank the car through the gears. On an F1 it works especially well, since with throtle control one can easily control the car through corners.
