Come on 400 isn't that far away

Couple of questions - I have two factors that have kept me from 400 (391.xxx is as fast as I've gone)

The first (although probably not keeping me from 400MPH) is understeer and trying to keep it off the barrier before the tunnel - is that also an issue for you?

The second - and the one that is really killing me - is that the car will drop out of the wheelie a few hundred yards before the finish line and lose anywhere from 10 to 15MPH. It feels as though there is a bump in the track that causes this (although it could also be that the power cuts out). Have you experienced this?

... until 397 was quite easy (from my experience with the PAL cars)
now the game starts to be very hard :nervous:

391 in regolar direction IS VERY good 👍
try in reverse direction!!

The first :
The REAR/FRONT downforce is important
if you have less front downforce you hit the wall..
if you have more DF ..the car starts the wheelie too late :grumpy:

The second:
i don't think there is a dump, I had the same problem in reverse
direction .. in my opinion it depend on the Torque !
I had this problem with all my wheeling cars at the beginning
(with the NTSC GTONE too) , you have to check your gear setting
expecially the sixth ;) ..and work on suspensions also!

In some cars i've resolved the problem ..with others nothing :(

NOTE
I have a record of 611.94 with the Speed8, before to reach the
maximum the car stop to make the wheelie , goes down for a
moment losing 2 km/h after that restart the wheeling :confused:

I've improved the 396.8mph ...

THe 400mph with the NTSC_GTone ... is similar to the 600km/h with the PAL_R92CP !
It seems that there is an invisible hand that Stops ..the car :nervous: ....

Tomorrow i have to return the NTSC PS2 to the owner , so for
the moment my attempt to the 400mph ends here !!

Now i make the last trials ....

the final screen video (no sound)



the last 1/4 of miles was very hard , i reach easily 399.5 mph
but the way for the 400.. wasn't easy !

it was the pefect run and the setup too!

and a lot of fortune helps me !

When you tune the car so that the camber angle and a bunch of other things make it so that the wheels will lift off the ground while driving and the car will keep on accelerating. That and you have to tune alot of other stuff.
 
My top speed is 1243mph!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Im serious. I kind of cheated using the codebreaker with super ultra nitrous.But anyways it was insane I used my 787b black version, the front of the car strated lifting like a pice of paper.My top time in the test track was about 20 to 22 seconds.
 
370 miles in the R92CP...though it just bounces too much. Any tips?
Does everybody remember the good old wheelies in GT3?? I got 1960k's in the Gt-one. God that was funny.
 
There is a leaderboard on this site of people who have achieved more than 300MPH. if you have reached that speed you should post there too.
 
Must I say, when you use cheats, you can reach over 10,000 Kph. - RUINS THE FUN THOUGH.

My top speed would have to be 384 kph, but this is during a proper race, not on Test Course. Was in my Minolta 88c, not fully modified 👍
