I praise 1.06/1.07, looking forward to 1.08-2.00 & $DLC/expansions.

I am at A-31, B-5, and earned my way up to Purchase a FGT, I won a X2010, Golded all my S-challenges, did some Enduros (the 2 hour ones), enjoy the seasonals, Silvered the whole AMG special, all on a mere 1 & half hour per week night, since release. Occasional 4 or 5 hour Saturday mornings too. I love it for what it is, Best Video Game of the Decade for me. It made me neglect my PC too... oh well, money saved.

Not quite. But what does any of this have to do with good ole GT5? Nothing. Think we should start focusing on the OP praise of the update instead of turning this into a flame war across the pond. 👎

I was kidding. :guilty:

How many traders/dupers have actually driven every car they own? I can't see how it contributed to the game. I certainly can't see how this could be big enough to "ruin" the game.

For me, it's a useful anti-cheat feature. I really like these last updates!

Good for you. I'll stick to actually DRIVING all of my duped cars instead of pushing a button and walking away. Im at level 33 B-spec, but IMO it's not fun, at all. Unfortunately it's a necessary evil with this game unless you want to repeat the same races 100x over. Instead I run B-spec on the PS3 while playing something else on the xbox.

I'm level 35 Apsec and 36 Bspec and still enjoying this to its fullest. Yes i push a button and walk away, but that's easy for me to do since i work alot of the day. I just do the Tsukuba 9 hour again and again. Also the remote races are a bonus and can also be done from work via phone.

I will admit repeating some Aspec events over and over again does get annoying but it's hardly boring. If you challenge yourself in the game it will appeal to you more than doing the Sunday cup in a Dodge Viper.

Seasonal events have added a lot to my Aspec level and also money flow and they are certainly fun, try them in a stock car and fk me it starts getting tough but so much more enjoyable than tuning my RX7 to 400hp and leaving them for dead on the first lap.

I'm not telling you how to play the game i'm just telling you what you're missing out by duping and not playing the game in a way that challenges you. I have many rare and expensive cars, in fact i have near enough 410 in total now and yes i frequently trade but i have never went down the road of duping. When i trade i lose the car i'm offering for one i'm prepared to put time into.

I play the same way as you. I've never once just picked an over powered car to get an easy win. The whole way through A-spec I made an effort to keep the races fun and competitive. I've also done the same with the seasonal bonus races.

Why would you assume that I rushed through the career mode in overpowered cars, just because I duped??

Compare your last post to what i just said. I was stating ways to make it more appealing to you so that you wouldn't have to dupe etc.

Understood. Though I did repeat quite a few races to get my credits up to 20 mill (both A & B spec). I never just ran laps around Indy. There are still a few races that I find a lot of fun, but repeating them time after time just got old. At that point I just wanted to test and tune new cars, and race online. To each his own 👍
