I wish they'd do away with the Cr limit, but with remote racing I guess now it makes a little sense. Keeps you coming back and trying new things.... ideally.
However, the problem lays with becoming comfortable with the inconvenience. The inconvenience that not everyone in the community seems to be as intelligent as we seem. All human wisdom is summed up in two words - wait and hope. But not everybody is wise. Not everyone is willing to put in work to help their fellow man.
I think that's why we've (the US) has so many nukes. You know... just in case....
The way "the other" people play the game obviously affects me too. Hence the topic at discussion. Now I can't use features that I enjoyed using when I first picked the game up.
I happen to be Buddhist and don't believe in war. But that bloody well had me rolling on the floor.
"ghandi is anti-violence, but not anti-comedy!" -ghandi in clone high
I am going to miss swapping cars to keep things interesting but 1.07 is for the GREATER GOOD
no duping

please note the lack of manors or consideration of other peoples opinions. Also note the grammar....
GTPlanet will be a better place without them
Great update, hopefully now people will actually have to earn the top end cars rather than pester a few people online for them.
Specifically the X1. Do the challenges and feel a sense of achievement rather than begging and pleading strangers to send you one for free.
All this nonsense about "WHO ARE THEY TO TELL US HOW TO PLAY". Erm. The developers. Who just did tell you how to play. By imposing these brilliant limits.
Tiago1186100% agreed , im tired of kids crying about this new update , just play the game by the rules , or buy another game ...
Honestly the game was much more fun when i had to gring my ass of and get that good sensation of getting a car after a very very hard work , like when i first got my fgt , i was grinding for hours the american champioship at the indy , and then when I finally got the 5 mil Cr the formula 1 just dont show up in the ucd , but when i finally found it was amazing ...
Not im lv 40 a spec , 929 cars in my garage pretty much the fun is gone , only left to race online , seasonal , but the game it self its pointsless right now .
I have to keep up putting challenges to my self , things to do after .
Right now im colleting Veyrons , which ill be harder now , since i cannot trade then .
The game is amazing just play it and enjoy !
PD IS listening.
Open.
I hope this is the end of the tripe that I just had to clean up. If not...
Yea its the end, just had to get our 2cents in here, instead of getting flamed on the other thread.
Well again... If youre talking about hooking your buddy up with an expensive car there is the share function. So again I fail to see your logic. Why do people here have to be so vague when they answer? Please be a bit more specific here. Thanks 👍
Also you can still use the gift function, just not for a car over 1 mil.
This update was the worst thing to ever happen in video game history.
Worse than a million Sonic games?
Yes.
I think that the update was flawed, Bobsbuddy. But not without it's good intentions. The two largest flaws are the one that you mentioned, and the PS3 only be able to make a set amount of trades. I think Blitz187 comment of Kaz's tweet is an promising step into making this update work completely. If so, I am a 100% supporter. I never saw a problem with trading the right way, but duping watering down the gameplay for everyone, as it tempts the purist to turn to the "Dark Side" of GT5. But on the same line, who are we to say how Racer X plays? That's why I am on the fence. What's your thoughts?
Not sure if it was flawed, or possibly a warning showing what damage could be done. I think it should be lifted because of the people that didn't abuse this feature. But on the other hand I think the limit to one trade per PS3 should remain. Then that will allow normal users not be affected by this, but will limit how much dup trading is going on.
It's definitely showing what damage could be done. I don't agree with the one PS3 idea, however. I live with a roommate and her three kids, as well having a kiddo of my own. The budget only allows one PS3, and we were lucky to get that. It also is only source of living room DVD'ing. With that being said, the roommate and two of the kids play GT, and semi active online. This new feature inconvenience our gameplay. I know, an inconvenience? But as we weren't doing any thing wrong, why the slight punishment? Albeit slight, any inconvenience isn't comforting for doing absolutely nothing wrong.
