Preferred engine size poll

It's not the block, it's what you do with it.

I've seen sub 10 sec flat fours, a nitrous camper that'll do a 14 sec standing quarter, driven more flat six's than I can count, plenty of V8's too, the V10 rocked my world. Yet to take a spin in a V12 though.

Sound wise though, you just can't beat a big V8 burble.

Yeah, I'm with V8, I guess I feel like the V10 and V12 is just too much, but thats just me, I also have a Cadillac with a V8 (IRL)

All right I love the sound of a rotary engine, would love to have one,but as a Honda owner and long life VTEC fan can't deny the sound of it at work of course with some intake and header enhancer. No hate for v8's or the others. Love how Mustang's sound with a Flowmaster or that Supra next door. I prefer a 4 cyl but love all the others.

You forgot the 5 cylinder cars. :sly:

Imo a 5 or 6 cylinder turbo charged engine is the best. More "soul" as 4 cylinder engines, without having the brutal extra weight of a 8/10/12 cylinder engine.

Just look how the GT-R outperforms every super car. And not to forget, a AWD car is much more saver on the road, especially on wet, snow or dirty roads. Btw. if you want more rear bias on your AWD car, purchase a aftermarket differential controller.

AWD is the future & even Ferrari is jumping now on the AWD train. :dopey:👍

Oh well, I'm a fan of Ferrari's so that explains it.

Makes sense. I understand =P

Any Ford V8 is good for me. The only 6 cylinder I like at all is the Ford 300c.i. Inline 6, 4.9L.

Surely the poll should be renamed engine configuration or design? The number of cylinders or the way they are aligned does not indicate size.

The cubic displacement of the cylinder chambers combined surely equals engine size?

Am I just nit-picking here?

Ford nailed the 4.9l...Had one in my 89 F150. I wish I still had that truck. Im a big Nissan engines fan...just dont like their lack of fit/finish and QA.

In game I don't much care. Engine size in game is more about power than anything. IRL I am a fan of Inline 6's, because of the monster of the 2JZ-GTE.
