I was playing online last afternoon when the update has been released so I've exited the game, updated and then couldn't join any lobby.

Only thing i can say until Fernando confirms is:

On ps4 it's working, you buy but don't get charged.
On Xbox there seems to be an issue where it brings you to the credit-card page...
 
December will see the launch of the “Style Pack”, followed by the “Japanese Power Pack” and the “Electric Pack” in 2021.
 
Project Cars 3 is currently discounted to £24.85 on base.com if there’s anyone interested in grabbing the game for a lower price. Lowest price I’ve seen the game since release.
As a side note, Project Cars 2 Deluxe Edition is currently £11.99 (£8.99 for standard) on PSN as well if anyone was looking to grab the previous game.

Personally grabbed the deluxe of PC2 as an upgrade for my old physical copy of the standard edition which I’ll look to sell/trade at a later date

Question: do you need Xbox Gold to be able to play Rivals?
I've got someone who has free live but his rivals are greyed out...

I don't have PS Plus and I'm able to play NFS Rivals with no issues. I imagine it being the same for XBL.
 
Hopefully unlocking one of those will ping Slightly Mad Racer for me too :)

Yes you need Xbox Gold frustratingly. Every other game with this kind of mode doesn't require it but PC3 does.

It is somehow connected to sport games, wonder if motorsport is subject of interest too. Weird stuff, CM buying a studio, and then sell themselves. CM never disappoints in mysterious deals. At least hope SMS will make it out like Bohemia, with Dirt simulator developers too.
 
So I just platinumed PC3, with the hold up being the car collector trophy. No idea what triggers it. It's supposed to be when you purchase 25 unique cars, it triggered when I purchased my 35th (2020 Acura NSX). Thought it was 25 Manufacturers, but no, triggered on my 23rd. Thought non-unique would be having say a 60s Mustang and 2015 Mustang, but no, triggered on my 30th car there (5 cars in my collection being of different eras or years but same make and model). Only done a race conversion on one car (the Escort), so it's not that.... But I got it in the end, after 1d15h play time (according to the game). PC3 disc out from the console, PC2 back in! Might even get back into GTS again now for my arcade / online fix.

Same here and congrats. I originally thought I was going to get the last trophy during my career mode playthrough. I had different cars and some where upgraded to different classes. When I reached to 25 cars, the trophy didn't pop-up. I had to look it up on YouTube how to get the trophy. I had to buy different vehicles in each catagory from low to high before I earned the trophy. After that, I sold the cars I wasn't interested in.

Been playing on Xbox One S up until now, managed to get a Series X yesterday, and honestly it's like playing a different game now graphics wise, bearing in mind PCars 3 hasn't even had a new-gen optimization
