I don't like reading 'problem' and 'T300' in the same sentence. Makes me worried. Although I seem to have read it a lot recently. I'll try some nearby sockets or just end up sweating my balls off instead. Online races can be quite strenuous!

EDIT: tried every socket in my room, same result. Tried a difference desk fan, happened but not as often. Also when I plug the wheel power cable in I can hear a click in my speakers. Wouldn't be surprised if this wheel blows up my house one day.

Just read that Forza 6 won't have dynamic weather or time of day, and instead they're pre-scripted. I think we can therefore all agree what a challenge SMS had to get these features working in their game, even though it's far from perfect ATM. if Turn 10 have chosen not to do it then it must be pretty taxing.
I suppose there are those who will say the 450 cars makes up for it though.

Really wish my T300 worked on Xbox One.

I know which I prefer. Dynamic weather and time add so much to a racing game.

A quick question......apologies if this has been posted but could not find it after a brief look.
My PS4 has 2 accounts. Account 1 = me, Account 2 = A.Nother.
Account 2 bought 2 DLC car packs but Account 1 cannot see or use them.
How do you go about sharing DLC? There is probably a simple setting for this, I just cannot see it.
Thanks in advance.

Account 2 must be activated as the primary ps4 in the settings.

I'm totally not a fan of the new warning messages that now pop up right in the middle of the screen.

What was wrong with the small box on the left informing you about corner cutting & penalties etc? That box still appears sometimes, but at others a big block of text appears in front of me when I really should be concentrating on the actual road. I don't need to see it. I was perfectly happy to read the old messages as they were, who decided this new obtrusive message was a good thing?

I want it gone, it's pointless.
Rant over.

We need an audio recording of the WEC race steward to warn over track limits instead. Together with the car # loses all lap times from this session remark.

Ok, i'm pretty sure that doing full distances will cure the AI in the wet now:

What Doug said is correct, AI does now pit and is slower on slicks in the rain. You'll encounter them starting off on wet tyres (in dry conditions), and not pitting when there isn't enough time between the start of the race and when it starts raining, so racing full distances in the shorter races can avoid this happening.

Just a small question, any word on update 1.5 yet? Just curious. :P

Also, are the pitcrews close to being back? I miss watching the people responsible for fixing my mess...and dropping lugnuts lol.

For 1.5 i read SMS doesn't want to release the notes in advance like they did for 1.4, as then there was too much nagging about it for a couple of weeks. So no idea when 1.5 will come, i hope SMSoon TM.

For the pit crews, no idea will probably take them a while (why can't i put back a normal size font :P).

As for AI pitting for wets, yes they do. In a GT3 race at Watkins Glen when the rain subsided everyone pitted for their mandatory pit stop. Later in the race when the rain picked back up the AI pitted to switch back to wets. But not me, oh no, there's only a handful of laps left, I'll be ok. I pitted the next lap missing my hood. The AI does seem to be too fast in some corners yet, but overall they are slower in the rain.
The race was at 88% length.

I did a race that started raining on lap 2 of 6, and in the field of 19 AI I think about 15 of them pitted. The remaining 4 or so stayed out and had a massive lead to the finish. I retried the race and started on wets, and surprisingly I was able to do times similar to (if not the same) as I when I was on slicks. The tires just overheated a lot faster. That didn't seem correct. But in any case, there were a few AI that didn't pit again, but I won because I didn't pit either.

Though being able to set slick times in the dry with wet tires doesn't seem to happen all the time. Maybe it depends on the car. Because I accidentally went out on wet tires in the dry in superkarts and I was quite a bit slower.

Can they not be moved by rearranging the HUD?

Thanks for the input Awong. Strange that some bots do pit and others just drive on, they should all have the same tyres/strategies more or less. Can i copy our posts so Doug sees it?

I could just copy and paste this over there. I'm semi-following that thread as well. It could be that the AI that didn't pit also started on wet tires. I have no way to tell.

Cheers, the better we document it there the faster we get it fixed ;)

Took my first plunge into the world of online racing on PCars last night. I can't believe how many idiots there are playing this game who just want to do nothing more than ruin the race for other people. Even Forza was never this bad. I played about six races and every single one of them had people parked up waiting for somebody to drive past so they could wreck them, or just driving really slowly and intentionally getting in people's way to ruin their lap. It was a joke.

When some decent laps could be strung together the racing was otherwise very good and had some great battles, still finding those people who will happily just run you off the road if you're about to overtake them on the last lap though.

Think I'll stick to career mode from now on.

Is their a way to kick people out of the online room? I,ve only been able to vote to kick someone. I hope I just over looked the option to kick, as the host should be able to control the room the way he/she see fit.

I,m not much for single player, the online could be so much more fun if you could boot the people who don't race clean.

EDIT... PS4

You'd hope so, but I've only seen them say its coming soon. Even if they just made backwards cars become ghosts like Forza then it would stop all the griefers.

I have looked but can't find anything.
Does anyone know if it is possible to have race at 100% but practice and qualifying shorter at say 50% ?
