Is it still possible to become a beta tester (or whatever it is called)? Its really annoying that I am not receiving an activation E-Mail. Now I can't play pCARS again, unless I get the E-Mail.

Thought so.No.
1. Because they closed the funding.
2. Because it isn't a Beta yet. It's pre Alpha.
It's just "RUF", not "RÜF". It also doesn't have a special meaning, it's just the last name of the company's founder, Alois Ruf. But, yeah, the Gernam noun "Ruf" would be translated as "the call", or sometimes as "the shout".
R U F,Rough or Roof?

I know why you got Rüf stuck in your head.I take back my statement about RUF. Why I have RÜF in my head... no clue. Should've consorted Google before opening my big mouth.

Fill in 'rufen' with German selected and click search and then the blue speaker. This is plural, so just remove the '-en' on the end and just say it up to the f.

>>>>>>> Tüf (prüfung).
Am I the only one who's incredibly excited to hear that intelligent AWD system are in there, in the first place? I always hated that that wasn't the case for games like Forza and Gran Turismo.
Glad that SMS is working on the Evo X again.
And hearing about the intelligent AWD system, seems intriguing also. I wonder if they driven one of the Evos or seeing one with the super all-wheel control in action on a track and/or on a dyno for their information. And will it top over GT's and FM's AYC controllers.
Maybe when it's finished, I'm seeing a GT/FM/PCars comparison down the road. Can't wait.![]()
You can't if your not an investor.Holy %&##!@!&, are you kidding me?!
I just became aware of this game and had a look at these screenies. http://www.wmdportal.com/projectnews/project-cars-community-gallery-49/#more-3521
I always thought GT5 looked good, but this looks SILLY good!
Spa looks fairly similar on F1 and PCars, but I think the lighting looks better in PCars.
I actually like the physics feeling in GT5. Maybe that has something to do with the fact that I haven't tried any other game with my T500RS. The only thing that could be a lot better is the feeling when tyres are about to loose traction. I can't really feel that in GT5, even with the T500RS.
I really hope PCars will have that and more when it comes to physics. When I read "30 fps on consoles" my mind was already made up to play it on PC only. I need my 60fps+.
Really looking forward to this. Going to download and try.
You can't if your not an investor.
But if you are somehow able to download it, please share it with me because I want to try it myself.
That's what I said. You cannot play the game without an account.
I was trying to find out if he had found, by any change, a special way to download pCARS (not illegally ofcourse).I was just clarifying following your second sentence.

Yes, release is planned for, I believe, november 2013.
Yep, I already have a legally downloaded build, but without the code, I can't play it.If you know the URL to the files (or someone gave you it) you could download the builds, you still couldn't play it though because you have to sign in to your account to play it.
