I get that a PC is vastly superior for playing games, and not just in the graphics sense but I am a console gamer through and through and I, without a doubt, will be buying this on PS4, with my DS4. Just like I do with every new game that comes out.
Don't understand, you spend loads of dosh on a PS4 for what could possibly be the best RaceSim yet, great physics etc but choose to use a controller? I suppose it's what you like/used to at the end of the day. Personally, I couldn't imagine using one these days, miss out on so much info, FFB etc.

A leaked screenshot of the wii version, could this explain all the delays??

Anyway, does anyone have any idea why vvv was holding back a video for a build from February? Like why get our hopes up if its 2 months old?

Astonished after seeing Team VVV video showing 43 cars with no significant frame drops, doing my best to save for a wheel for this but as a console gamer what a treat this is.

Entered a sim racing competition which has a first place prize that would help a lot.

Wich will be, including the monitor, more than a ps4. But I want start the war again.
Look at what was said by... I don't know. I liked it.
Everyone got their favorites.
Let's all enjoy Pcars at our favored systems!
I have a lot of uses for an additional monitor, not just pcars :p.
I have a PS4 anyway, the only reason I'm going for the PC version is because of wheel support, not graphics.

Alright then. My setup is worth like 800 euro all together (ps4, rig, wheel+pedals). I had the ps4 before Pcars, playing other games.

We will all be happy I guess, no matter the hardware.

I guess that would confirm the rumor that this was an early development build of the canceled PS3/360 versions (the real giveaway is the abundance of green and brown):

Check out those trees, though -- SMS actually downgraded them for the newest builds!

No no, this is the XBOX ONE version in 900p isn't it? :P :P

Some of us don't have the room or money for a wheel

And not all of us can physically use a wheel.

Being an X1 only owner this news doesn't upset me even in the slightest. I am happy that they are able to optimize each platform to its greatest extent. Hell most AAA devs have a hard time getting multiplats above 900p. So I am happy that they got PS4 to 1080 and X1 to 900. Now all I ask for is this FPS to be a rock solid 60FPS.

being an xbox owner i have to say seeing 900p annoyed me a little, but as long as 60fps is locked - thats way more important. the lack of x1 footage of pcars made me think it could have the main reason for some of the delays. now i think they have given up on 1080p and had to bite to bullet.

now its time to move on and release it already!!!

Hi guys can someone please vet me a screen shot of the current tuning options. Trying to prepare some stuff for P Cars and this would be really helpful cheers

My biggest gripe is the AI though, they'll fight but still do crash a lot (in the VVV video a F1 car took flight and a kart crashed into a tyre by itself) and there was some illegal overtakes in the video as well.

It's an old build mate.... It's been tweeked since then!!

It seems a lot of people talk about AI over online racing. Is there that many people that prefer offline over online for racing games? I'm not saying one is better than the other, just wondering since we're in the age of, online is everything for consoles with all the new social additions.

(I don't play PC and I don't really follow PC communities)

I prefer AI racing. I rarely play online in these kinds of games

I like your positive thinking. But leave something that sms can do wrong! ;)
I do like a game that is polished to nearly perfection. But that's not gonna happen.

The glass is always half full for me mate.......... Until SMS delay the game and then the glass gets knocked over!! Hahaha!

If that's the case then brilliant 👍

There will always be a place for offline racing (easier and faster to set up), plus unless you do league stuff you're not guaranteed to find a lot of good competition.

Have high hopes the community would be great though since it's a full on sim.

The only option I have is offline gaming because I live in the middle of no where and the only viable option for internet is satellite. However, its just not fast enough for online gaming, plus the data rates aren't a bargain. Thankfully, I'm still able to update software and patches regularly. So, that's why I care more about AI than online.

That is very true about leagues, online lobbies don't always offer the best experience, so finding a good league is worth the search. There is a really good one shaping up for ps4 hosted by @STALLIONO though. I highly advise anyone to check it out if you're looking for a league.

I 100% understand that as Internet speed does play a big factor in today's games.

Tbh I like racing against the AI it's better sometimes than racing online and I think I will definitely like doing it on PCars because of how much work they put into career mode and the AI

Offline only for me, not interested in online. I'm very pleased with how the AI looks in PCars and am looking forward to battling with large grids of them. Online grid size is 16 max as opposed to sometimes over 40 offline (depending on the location) which is a HUGE drawcard for me with this game on PS4.
