Thing is... any developer does extensive beta testing programs on their titles nowadays, before releasing it to the console market, that is. Not SMS, by the looks of things.
Some of the bugs/glitches would've taken ten minutes to be spoted by a not so thorough beta tester. This makes me believe that the console ports weren't tested at all.
They simply run out of time and released pCARS as a finished product.
Now, we test the game for free!
If WMD/SMS were a little more honest, they would've released the game as a beta to console players. We would help, we wouldn't get so annoyed, angry and pissed by the game and in a couple of months, they could released the game in a stable, functioning state.
But, as always, common sense is the last resort.
It's good. But releasing a beta as a fully functional game is a dodgy thing to do. Reminds me of a japanese studio, which advertised a course maker to their latest product ages ago...
