Apparently, the time slow bug is not a bug. Could be an overdone temperature/climate conditions effects.

(Yeah, the ones they chose to deeply simulate within the physics, but keep hidden from console players so we don't get to know what conditions are affecting our driving) :banghead:
I don't know what to believe anymore, OP of that initial thread posted lap times and videos to demonstrate it even.

Well, what I do know is that I don't trust SMS/WMD combo, so I take everything they say (specially a guy who thinks that test a well based bug report on a bugged mess of a game is a waste of time) with a grain of salt.

But I've tried to replicate this issue on my PS4 and all I've got was inconclusive. So, I do think it could be an overdone climate effect on physics. Which is a completely different problem, since I can't get the information regarding track conditions because it's hidden. After all, you know, who cares about physics changing data on a racing sim?

Why is Ian being so...condescending?

He thinks it's cute.

Whenever i go in the pits and want to add extra fuel, i leave the pits with the same amount of fuel as before!!! This has meant having to restart the race as i don't have enough fuel. The only way to get around this is to have 60 litres of fuel for the whole race! and if i wanted to do 100% race distance I wouldn't be able to. I've racked up 90 hours on 100% but have not yet encountered this until now.

Is this a bug? or am i doing something wrong?

PS4 - GT3 - Silverstone GP - SLS

Edit: sorry, i guess this would have been better in the glitches thread.

Same problem haha. Can't add fuel in gt3 races. Check rules and regulations page during a race and it may tell you there

Ok,
Somebody get Ian Bell on the horn and tell him to get this Beast licensed and in the game ASAP.

This Ariel Atom-based supercar has an open-air cabin, a carbon fiber body, and a 2.4L supercharged 4cyl. Honda Racing engine that outputs an impressive 500hp. Weighing in at just 1,650lbs., it should hit 60mph in just 2.7 seconds..

Revzani Beast

Holy crap! I played pCARS today and what a massive difference in performance there was. :) I didn't get any of the horrible frame drops I used to get. It looked gorgeous too, I don't know what they changed but it worked. I'm on Xbox by the way.
Patch 1.5 is suppsoed to be even better on Xbox, 30 cars at Monaco and the lowest it drops is 57fps :)

Nice taste with Rocket League. ;) All the games you mentioned are PS4 games. Just about every game I have played on my Wii U has been absolutely spot-on and bug-free(or with tiny issues although I havent encountered a single issue myself through 28 games). Next gen doesnt have to be full of faults, developers just need to know what they can deliver on and what they can't. Its fair enough that boundaries must be pushed, but not at 60 quid a pop to consumers.
Well... The talk was about next gen games...

"Ba dum tss" ;)

Are there any GT1's in pCARS? I'm no expert in FIA racing classes, but I don't think there are any GT1's

I'd be happy to be corrected 👍
The Mercedes CLK LM, but GT1 was cancelled after that year and changed to LMP.

I'm doing the career for the moment with the Clio cup and.......Ladies and gentlemen's.....you can't put fuel in Q and
race .you must do this before you Q or do a full race .I had the same problem until I saw a little movie where the ladies explain the rules. :O:ouch:

I used my playseat again today finally and had a blast. I fiddled with the FOV I set it to 120 and was way too much, was driving a BMW Z3 gt something. So I turned it down to 100 and was brilliant, left it there switched cars to the Bac Mono and I nearly threw up! I got nauseous when turning, I think it is maybe because it's an open cockpit (was using cockpit cam at all times). Any one else had this problem?

So, after saying that the slowing time bug (probably) was a giant waste of time, Ian Bell get back at the forums to say that, after tons of new reports, they are now looking into it propperly.

Christ lord allmighty, what a mess, what a PR nightmare this guy is.

Some context.

He went from
They don't. We've fully investigated it and it's not happening on any of our kits. It was a large waste of time though.

To:
I think we've investigated with normal grids on the tracks concerned. We'll max it out and see how it goes.

Every report about this issue states very clearly that it is noticeable only with maxxed out grids.

I'm driving the Clios in career. When I make a pit stop in the 2nd race, I come out to flat tyres. I've tried changing the pressures and the same thing happens. Is there any work around?

Absolutely! Project CARS will continue to grow & evolve through 2015 via ON DEMAND. Feature Update 2.0 coming soon!

So I'm guessing this update might come after update 1.5. Just make sure those bugs are gone that people are dealing with and fix the AI before adding features. Looking forward to that 2.0 update but fix things first before adding features.
