the bad thing on that really nice whishes is, the should have been wished 2 years ago, when SMS startet to plan pCars2.
Unfortunatety the community didn't have whishes for pCars2 this time, most people bashed SMS for starting over, though car designers and 3D people were ready to go for the new project. WMD members who joined had good luck, and many of their wishes are in, so are mine. :)

I'm wondering where TC2 (Super 2000) is.

He'll be happy to know we have the Huracan ST and Porsche GT3.
Completely forgot about the modern touring cars. Added NGTC, TC2 & DTM categories.

Also is the GT3 Porsche the GT3 Cup or the RSR? Just so I know which one to remove from the list.

The GT3 Porsche is different to the GT Cup. I think the RSR is the GTE.

You added the modern WTCC cars. (2014-present) The Super 2000s are those from 2013 in the BTCC and WTCC and probably others.

The cars you added are in the FIA TC1. The PCARS TC1 is the Clio Cup/DTM. Can't remember which. Like it either way.

Renamed TC2 to WTCC and added the proper TC2 category with the right cars as well as the rally S2000 class.

The difficulty with doing something like this is, of course, BOP. You could have 10 different GT1 cars in the game, but only 2 or 3 of them would be worth driving because they are/were superior.

The LMP900 Class currently in the game is a perfect example of this. The Audi R8 LMP is better than the Bentley Speed 8 and the Speed 8 is better than the BMW LMR. So everyone just drives the Audi R8 LMP.
That is very true.

Probably won't be making any more additions to my list, since that (if you add the cars already in PC1) is pretty much my dream car list for any racing game. Well, outside of production cars which I may make a separate list for.

I just raced my first endurance race and used the AI as my teammate. Here are some things i think would make it a little bit better...
Multiple drivers per car and AI drivers driving my car to have there own names
Monitor style viewing while the AI drives, like being on the pitwall
Some driver instructions for the AI driver, ie. save fuel, push, go easy, etc.
Changing pit strategies while AI drives, without having to pause the game.
and finally,
More intelligent AI drivers. but thats a whole different story.

Cheers

I can't wait. I really would love more Aussie Tracks. And more V8 Supercars like Holden verses Ford etc. And most of what's been stated already. Hoping we don't have to wait to long for any Supercars to be released!

Unfortunately, bar Ruapuna and Bathurst, there won't be any new Aussie/NZ circuits. Ian said. :(

It is pretty amazing that Project CARS and Project CARS 2 are so packed with features that we haven't easily filled up a wish list of features. On the whole of it, there isn't nearly as much needed as many other games.

  • "Quick Tunes" for each Car and Track combination that auto adjusts for weather conditions. Basically, an artificially intelligent Race Engineer/Crew Cheif to set up the car so you only have to race, if you choose.
  • Ability to save 10+ Tunes per Car, per Track. Qualifying, Race, Rain, Hot, Cold, Hard Tires, Softs, Long Stint, Short Stint, etc.
  • Ability to accelerate Fuel Consumption the way you can Tire Wear (2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 7x, etc)
  • Increase the number of Pit Stop Strategies from 10 to 20 or 100.
  • Copy or improve upon iRacing's "Black Box" Menus (Pit Stop adjustments, in-car adjustments, Relative Leader Board)
  • Copy or improve upon iRacing's usage of "Trading Paints" for custom liveries (a server-based livery system which would allow for each user to upload one livery per car onto the server for all to share)
  • Co-Op Career Mode for two or more players with remaining field completed with AI Bots (each user would pick their Career Path and race together in races when the calendar dictates)
  • Career Mode AI with names and skills which transfer and flow throughout the Career Mode

Hello, I wish there will be a career touring in project cars 2. PC1 was well provided except for the touring class in my opinion. It might look like this:

- Touring clio: clio cup on Oulton Park, Snetterton, Brand hatch Gp and brand Hatch Indy, Silverstone, Donington and Thruxton.
- V6 touring championship: renault megane v6 trophy on Spa, Nurburgring, Barcelona, Bugatti, Silverstone, Brno, Hockenheim, Red Bull Ring
- BTCC: Ford Focus ST, Mercedes A, Chevrolet Cruze, BMW, Honda on the same circuits as Touring clio but with differents date and weather
- TCR Series: Honda, VW Golf, Seat Leon, Peugeot 308, Alfa Romeo ... on Bahrein, Spa, Monza, Oschersleben, Monaco, Red Bull ring, Shanghai, Yas Marina

The proposed circuits are or were on officials calendars. You can also add DTM (I doubt that this is possible for licenses), WTCC (including BMW 320 TC, Volvo, Citroen, Chevrolet, Lada, Honda ..) and V8 Supercars (Ford, Holden, Volvo , Nissan).

It would be great if PC2 had a real touring career. If it’s not possible, please make an offline custom championship to allow players to realize this. Thanks to read me.

You can choose to not change tyres in the pit strategy menu. Under Change Tyres, you can change it to None.
It would be nice to also have the option to change only the front tires or only the rears, as well as to be able to specify separate compounds for the front/rear.

different tires is possible in pCars1. you can specify it for every tire separately

What about an old circuit? I would love to have Longford, Tasmania - described as the fastest and best Grand Prix circuit in the South Pacific - maybe that could be added as DLC! It had everything - a brick railway viaduct to drive under (at an angle) a pub like Bannochbrae with the corner sticking out onto the track, two wooden bridges over a river with one of them long and curved. It was used for the Tasman series races and saloon car racing.

Skip to 3 minutes in this video for a track plan and track commentary;

@JASON_ROCKS1998 "Now for tracks: United Kingdom - Cadwell Park"

Cadwell is already in Project Cars GOTY Edition - hopefully not dropped for PC2 although it is so narrow that it is very difficult to race on.

Personally I would like to see these tracks added:

Longford, Tasmania - Australia
Lydden Hill, Kent - UK
Lydden Hill Rallycross - "The home of British Rallycross" and a round of the World RX Championship
Brands Hatch Rallycross - Two layouts have been used over the years, both were excellent for spectators and drivers alike.
Bridgehampton USA - Opened in 1957 as one of the world's greatest tracks.
Greenwood Roadway - Rumoured to be the inspiration for deep Forest in Gran Turismo.

Crystal Palace, London - UK - this great track was within easy reach of central London by bus or tube, but racing stopped due to noise complaints and cars getting too fast for the track - Mike "The Bike" Hailwood holds the lap record in an F1 car from the last international race held their in 1972. It was a round of the BSCC (Now BTCC) - some great footage here from 1964 when Jim Clark won the title - commentary by the inimitable Mr Chumley Warner.
