When set to hot, the track was around 35°C, you can see the tyres got very hot on the first push lap and then needed managing as the car lost a lot of grip as they maintained high temperature. In the cool, the track surface was around 24°C (still set to summer), and it was much easier to control the tyre temps, had more usable grip for longer. In the wet, of course it's much more slippery, much harder to maintain temperature, when you do get some temperature it disappears quickly on the straights.
