I'd personally like to know if there are an GTS-t and GTS-M models of R32/R33 skylines in the game.. also is the R34 GT Turbo

and also the C6 corvette.

in previous gt's u had to start the game with a real slow car. in this gt are u able to strat the game with the evo 6 tme.

I was able to buy the Evo fairly early on. I just completed the first license and sold the prize car to add to my starting credits, then went to the 90s used car lot and bought the Evo. Simple as that. I can now afford anything up to about 50,000,000cr (J) which I think makes the game a little too easy to be honest.
 
As this seems to be the thread that everybody's concentrating on at the moment... Could someone please post an ingame/race pic of a Holden Monaro CV8 or Commodore SS from the Australian Car Town if possible. It would be much appreciated. :cheers:

That made me think of something. As there is a points system with which slower cars who win against faster cars get more points, and less points if you use a faster car to win a race. Using nitrous might give you less points/credits then.

Someone suggested he should display a Paypal email so some of us could donate to him to help him get a DFP. I see nothing wrong with this practice, he didn't beg for it and there is no need to be so rude about him. Of course, if you were reading mgaffers ploy for donations and were having a go at him then fair enough, but please make it clear who you are *****ing at.

This whole donation thing doesn't sit too well with me, but anyway what do I know.

Does anyone have any Japanese>English translations of the GT4 menus yet? There are a few issues that I had with the game that I needed translations for. Mainly when I tried to save a championship midway through and then I couldn't restart it from where I left off. There was a message in the top right corner of the screen that was referring to the said championship, but I didn't know exactly what it was saying.
 
Sorry for asking the same question, but I wanted to keep it on the current page so someone would see it. It was already asked by someone twice but never answered. I suppose I'm just excited about GT4.

That would be very much appreciated! There are so many more options that need translating than the other games in the series.
 
Do the front wheels still pop out of the fender if you run into a big bump? You can see this in GT3 with the JGTC skylines/supras and any car that is really low/lowered.

Yes, that's where I tried the 480p and 1080i modes of the game.

Sweet... mad props to my HK homies... just outta curiosity, any of you guys know how the local version of the game is selling right now? the game shop initally said that I didn't need to reserve a copy... but that might be the case...

I'm sorry if I ranted, but I just got really pissed off when he said "to hell with corvettes." I haven't seen any Test Drives or Reviews of the C5 or C6, so I don't know how good a performer the Corvette's are. If it's a bad performer, then I would love to Smoke it with a Japanese car! I'm not saying that the Corvettes are all that, but I just want to at least test one out on GT4. Japanese cars rule (more specifically the G35), but I also like american cars, if that's ok.

I love the Japanese imports, but I also think the Corvettes are great cars too. I didn't read the reviews personally but from what I hear, C6s are as good as any sports cars for the price. I'm glad that Corvettes are part of the GT4.
 
Again... is it possible to 'buy' cars from another saved game on another memory card like was able to be done it one of the first two GT's???

It'd be a very good feature to have back.

Happy as this day is, GT4 is still a game. My thoughts are also with the people in Sri Lanka, stricken by the Tsunami disaster.
