The controller looks quite cheap and tacky. Like something you'd get from a toy store. Also the console looks a bit like a bread bin :S Not as impressed as i thought i'd be. I hate XBOXs but the 360 looks pretty nice in comparison.

What sort of comparison is the processing power of one of these in comparison with a 4Ghz PC?
 
From the looks of the controller/console pic, the controller handles are as long as i fear they are...crap...

Well it's the exact same point of view from the first Killzone and the first one is the gun is in the position when you run. So I'm sure it's in-game.

What? Did every gamemaker decide to leak photos of their games when Sony leaked the PS3?
 
Why'd they call it Killzone? It's already called Killzone for the PS2. That's dumb.
 
Don't worry about the controller. Knowing Pelican and Logitech, they'll make other controllers for this.

Yeah, you might wanna add Grand Theft Auto Next, that new Fight Night game, and Spider-Man3. :)
 
The consol is alright, the black one is my favorite. But I hope it lays down. my entertainment setup wont accept a verticle component.

The controller on the other hand, looks really, really stupid. I hope thats not the final design and I hope they offer black controllers with the black system.

And do we have any details on "Vision Gran Turismo"? I've never heard anything about another partial GT. Could it just be the new name for GT5?

And it was a real-time demo, the hoster was moving the character and all.
 
The Cell chip technology is confusing in that it seems that you cant go off the numbers alone. So to anyone who can even partialy grasp how the Cell chip sort of duplicates itself: Now that we have the final specks, how does this stack up to what we're hearing with the X Box 360?
 
From what I read ALL the demos were real time. Plus there were no CGI videos from the first person view in the frist game.

To all:

Controller has changed because of legality issues.

Sony has made no comments as to this being the "final design" as of yet. It's possible, but there haven't been comments.

After the lawsuit, sony had to change from the DS because it was financially hindering them. So we'll see how things turn out.

Most likely we'll see very little CGI with PS3 because it will be able to render something extremely similar in real time, so the need to spend money on good looking CGI would be useless, though it may still make appearances, I doubt it.
 
Xbox 360 1 teraflop, PS3 2 teraflops. Pentium 4 4ghz 0.03 teraflops or somehting like that. thats raw power not even including what the GPU's will be doing and the RSX is more powerful than ATis gpu.
