Funny thing is..
I wasn't being sarcastic....
Funny how when you assume something you're always wrong..
No, you're simply too young to understand anything about the market, or warranty's, or to speak like an adult, you live off of mommy and daddy, etc etc.
If you were 15 when PS2 came out, it makes you maybe 20 now? You should be much more mature and you should also, having any secondary education, if you do, ,know that nothing that ever comes from the factory is ever "perfect" and there are defects.
Sony produces many many more PS2's than Microsoft produces Xboxes. I can promise you there are horror story's of broken xbox's, but the fact is, there are more PS2's, so the percentages are higher, as I tried to tell you before, and as l4s tried to tell you.
40 million PS2's, with maybe 2 million if that, that break down, that's being extremely generous. That's what, something like 5%? You'd be hard pressed to find more than two million people, IF THAT, who have broken PS2's.
Fact is, you are another fanboy, more so than I. At least I have factual information and understanding rather than false opinions and guess work.
SO, please explain to me how I'm wrong since you:
A) Missed your warranty that was apparently still good.
B) Bought another PS2 for 300 rather than being smart and calling the company.
and
C) Seem to have very little to ever prove anything except for your word of mouth.
