This game sure does look great, can't wait to see some gameplay, according to some reports there is a Uncharted feel to the gameplay. Oh well we'll have to wait and see :D

Read this up in Play magazine. The AI is supposed to be intelligent as hell am I wrong?

Next month at E3 2012 there will be a demo gameplay of the last of us at Sony's Conference. ;)

If she survives this game, they can always use the old model for the sequel :p

I wonder if there will be a multiplayer element to this. You could probably play as Ellie. Although that'll mean it'll only be 2 player co-op unless Naughty Dog ends up introducing other people.

The Last Of Us Trailer Theme. For me, I get a sense of creepiness, mystery and danger (among other things) when listening to this.

Old Gameinformer combat and gameplay interview (no actual gameplay and combat footage, just developer interview). :)

They aren't zombies, zombies are undead. These are people infected by some sort .
Dawn Of The Dead / 28 Days/28 Weeks Later- tomatoes / tomartoes ( if you get my drift). I for one don't care about how or why the "enemy" came into being. The result is pretty much the same. Run like hell and don't get infected...
I can't wait for this one! ( and I'm a 45yr old "mature" gamer who generally restricts his valuable gaming time to AAA titles only)

Does anyone know where the Last Of Us is set or is it fictional? Looking at the artwork in the above vid it looks like San Francisco (Transamerica Pyramid).

It's set in Pittsburgh

Ah so maybe they start there and move across America visiting different locations (maybe as the chapters change). I'm pretty sure that pointy building in the concept art could only be in SF so that's cool if its all sorts of places.

If it's anything like Uncharted then yes, I guess so. It would certainly be nice to go to different locations across the states and maybe overseas too..

The Last of Us E3 2012 Gameplay -

Insane graphics. Great gameplay and a departure from Uncharted.

My favorite part of the trailer....

Joel: Alright, I got this

(Molotov cocktail to the enemy, enemy roasted.)

Ellie: (surprised)Holy s### Joel.

Joel: Keep it together.

That E3 demo was pretty brutal, especially the shotgun blast to the face. Pretty awesome, and very realistic gameplay. Naughty Dawg doesn't have a history of showing b.s. either in their presentation videos, what you see is what always ends up in the actual game. After Uncharted 2 and 3, I completely trust them on this one.

Stunning demo video, stunning screen shots. This game is just looking better and better.
