It's probably worth an 8 out of 10, at most.
Still looks like a really fun game for a playthrough, meaning a great rental. Probably worth buying for 20 bucks. 7 hour playthrough with no replay vallue and crappy online not worth playing.

No probably worth a 6/10 tops, probably. Only good for a few day rental, no replay value i bet, $15max for this game, buy used don't give money to these dumb devs. Crappy story, and multiplayer suxx, probably.

Probably worth 3/10 tops, probably. Only good as a Blu-Ray coaster for half full soda cans, game probably doesn't even play at all, $4.35 max for this game, don't even buy used so no one gets money, especially these dumb developers. Worst story ever, multiplayer broken and suxx, probably.

USSR has already stated elsewhere that he has a jailbroken PS3 and feels it's okay to download a cracked version of the game if it has no demo...no wait, this one has a demo...

3/10 - you'll be lucky. 1/10 and that only because you can't give it a fraction. So glad I finish work early on TLoU's release day, I have already planned how I will get the most from this game.
I'll be turning the lights off, curtains shut, phone off, surround system up, have set the Plasma TV up at the base of my bed so now it fills 90% of my field of vision, and I want to move through the in game world as realistically as possible, and I will not be using the listening mode. We don't run around everywhere or take run ups to hop over small walls nor can I see people's outlines through solid walls, I'll be walking my way through all the quieter sections and scavange every nook and cranny.

1. Last of Us doesn't have a demo available to the public, only to those few who bought God of War game.
2. I bought mine game from my local video game store purely by some stupid chance, or cosmic joke. I was planning that day to exchange my Resident Evil 6 for some other equally worth game. So i went there to do exchange and this guy knows me because i bought from him some games and he offers me this Last of Us copy. I was standing there like stupid with mine jaw and eyes on the floor. Tell me now you wouldn't buy it, only drawback was he's price, he had a box like 15 or 20 copies he wanted to sell for 70,5 $ each, but still it was great deal i think.
After solid 10 hours of game play i can give this game true 10/10, Tomb Raider blew my mind away so there is nothing left to destroy by Last of Us, simply stunning.
I'm happy that i didn't play pirate version because on-line i believe is going to be awesome.
I've just had a look at the number of trophies there are for The Last of Us and the list is relatively small compared to most games. In total there's only 24 - and that's including the Platinum. I didn't read the descriptions of them as to avoid any spoilers. I wonder why it's such a short list though.
I'm guessing more will be added as DLC trophies.

I kind of agree with you there TomBrady. Ask me to review a Metallica album, and, and, I don't even know where to start.Probably give it a 0/10 because I'm not into that kind of music. I'm just not the right person to review it, simple as that.

I'm a metallica fan but you're right. You couldn't review a metallica album, and I coudln't review rap or techno because I just can't stand either of them.
I would however review dubstep, because more people need to learn about that cancer on our ears. Plus it's not music, it's obnoxious noise to a beat. I could explain that. Guantanamo bay used to use dubstep for torture but they found out it's inhumane and went back to water torture and scaphism.

Any person who reveiws games is probably skeptical, and most likely that wouldn't happen if they knew what they were doing.
Most mature people in general have learned the hard way that having high expectations lead to disappointment, even if the game/movie/whatever ends up being amazing, it can still disappoint. So if a game reviewer lets expectations dictate their perception of a game like that, then yes, they shouldn't be reviewing games. They should know better.
Also, the people at IGN, and Gamestop are the best examples of people that shouldn't review games. Nobody should be reviewing games as a job because nobody will buy that game as a job, they buy it because they are interested it. That's precisely why most IGN and Gamestop reviews have more thumbs down on youtube than thumbs up, it's because their reveiws are terrible and don't represent the gaming community at all. plus, both of them have microsoft in their pockets, especially IGN. I mean really, Halo 4, 9.8?
And you're wrong about reviews never being objective, it does happen. Most often from Mark from Classic Game Room. occasionally his biases will get in the way but in general, he gives unbiased input to help people decide whether a game is for them. He doesn't score the games, and that's not a bad thing in my opinion. I don't think giving games a numerical value is a good idea. I've already stated why that's a bad idea

This is a grown up game. I mean not silly like Uncharted was sometimes with it's funny conversations. This game takes you out of real like and sucks you into this imagined adventure. You have to really sink in to fully appreciate the world and game-play.
There is tactics, observations of your enemies, learning their paths, evaluate if you can use weapon or maybe save it for later, who to kill with pistol and who would be better to sneak in and kill it with your bare hands.
This is great game for patient players, who will not charge stupidly through every stage but for those who can become main character.
People, you will love it like i do.

Yeah, giving positive reviews of a 360 exclusive must mean that they are being paid by Microsoft... Any proof? Didn't think so. But someone not having the same opinion as you is obviously biased.
And just to make it clear, I dislike IGN. But I don't jump to conclusions. And about Gamespot. Try reading their latest articles about the PS4 and Xbox One on their site. They are being VERY negative about the XBOX and very positive about the PS4.

ND: "It’s a very different game. I know people try to compare it to Uncharted – but we’ve had players taken aback by how different it is, not just to our other games, but from any game they’ve played before.
For example, running away is a big strategy here. Usually in a shooter you don’t do that. You hunker down and blast away. Here, you’ll really need to run away at times and re-strategise, take stock of you inventory, craft new items and so on. There’s a learning curve at the beginning but then when you get into the flow it’s going to feel very different from anything you’ve played before".

ND: "Surprisingly, the core of it has remained pretty much the same. We had the idea for these arcs for the characters and there’s something very specific we wanted to say with the story. The heart of it is Joel and Ellie and the bond that builds between them remained. That was our original vision and we stuck to it, I’m proud to say".
