Boom's getting in on the Photoshopping scene; cool.
My chops can take anywhere from an hour to 5 days or so to complete. Places where I get my parts from include a vast library of car pictures on my computer (got most of them from the following websites):
http://www.supercars.net
http://www.highresautoimages.com
http://www.photoshopchop.com/toolkit.htm
http://www.dieselstation.com/archives.html
http://www.ultimatecarpage.com
http://www.hireswallpapers.com/wallpapers.php
http://www.lutzedesign.ch/realisations/realisations.htm
http://www.easymachines.com
http://www.fantasycars.com/derek/list.html
I usualy only need to use one or two of them, but they're all good to have. Good luck with the photoshopping! :)

Here's my entry. I decided to make a coupe out of it. Tell me what you think. It's still awaitng a background. Now, on to the classic car comp!

EDIT: see update on p.3

Whoa.. the car just looks odd now.. its so..... i dunno how to describe it... its too high and flat.. if it was lower... then i'd probably like it =)

nooo, never, not at all...

I tried to shorten the body, heightwise. because it looked weird with bigger wheels. But i screwed a few parts up, and i don't want to start up again!

o.well.here.it.is..:D

Not your best work, but not your worst. I dunno about it; there's something...something off about it...Probably has to do with the lights...I dunno. I can't put my finger on it, but something is bugging me about that chop...

hmmm.je..i.know.what.u.mean.but.i.cant.fix.it.because.i,cant.pu,my,finger.on.it.ether..:hehe..but.i.think.im.gonna.find.some.new.lights.ore.something....
but,thx.4.the.tip.:D

well, this is a good car but I think that like evryone else here, i'm fighting to remove that "tall and stubby" look from it. Well, this is my latest attempt. I don't want to lower it; keep it classy. Something looks wrond with the back though.:odd: :irked:

That's it Glacius! Whatever you did made that alot better (more comprehensible). Now that you've edited the lights I can see the problem alot more clearly (and it's one that even I don't know how to fix without alot of trial-and-error...). The main problem is symetry; the car is lop-sided. I mean, look at the shape of the lights; one side is looking very absent-lighted, while the other side looks as though it still has the light completely there. I honestly can't say how to fix this as I have never figured it out myself (it's a bugger...). Good luck.
