The problem is, if you have a graphic that is more tall than wide, it shrinks down in such a manner that it makes it really small.

Good point. I'll probably switch to the 'Fly Emirates' logo then. I'll get back to you on it when I get home from work.

Edit: Was reading through some of the older posts in this thread and found it funny the way pretty much everyone in this series uses the lift-off oversteer of the MX-5 to rotate through the tight corners.

Actually, that's the way I drive the vast majority of the cars in GT5.

Question for Jason. You want me to leave the times on the input sheet or do you want me to move them over?

Edit: The red times were meant to be for laps that they had a not-so-clean lap. Is that the case with Cowboy's second lap?

How manys qualied so far its tomorrow 9pm the race right? (List shows 3 in D2 0 in D1)
 
9pm your time I believe is correct. 3 have qualified for each division.

Yes. It was technically dirty but it was slower so no issue there. 👍
 
I just realized that we haven't practiced the grid procedure. Does everyone know exactly what they need to do?
 
Im completely aware we need to do a formation lap then stop in our allocated grid box 👍.

haha, well that's yet another good use for the pre-season.

But yeah, just go out on track during free run, do a parade lap to the grid, be careful to make sure everyone's past the timing line (since the starting line is further up) and on the grid and start the race (like the system we've used before to set live quali. grids)

One question though, as I'm hosting I'm also going to be race control right?
So I have to call out cautions and such?
 
Yes. Basically the pole sitter needs to know which side to park on, then it should be self explanatory to everyone else. Just make sure you take a gander at the "race info" I posted on Sunday as it shows where the pole sitter should be positioned.

Edit: @ Wardez - that is a problem. Uh.... everyone kind of knows what to do as it's outlined in the OP and we've been talking about it. So maybe just skip them for this race? OR do a "competition caution" 5 laps in?

Crappy internet which I can stand no longer. The times have been great but my stress levels have been higher than my enjoyment.
 
Sorry guys its been building over 3 years my brain just cant handle it anymore even when I look at GT5 I cringe :(.

Yes, I has 35.4 on my clean lap, the 2nd one was a sloppy, slower one.
 
Yeah RT, eventually. Maybe once I get a job, move out and some proper internet. For now offline play and occasional blips in random races but thats it.

Truth is only reason I fought it so long is because you guys are great people and fun to race with, for all the memories and great races/series I have been in I am very gratfull.

I don't think I am going to be able to make the race at Spa.. Which bums me out a little bit, because it is one of my favorite tracks. If somehow the time frees up, I will post in the thread.

There is already a room up, but I just left so I can't grab the room number. Me and Wardez both just qualied.
 
My qual time is in the d1.I am in d2.

I might not do a quali run if its okay (I could start from the back of the grid or pit road). I just finished breaking in the car yesterday, so I'm only just now able to truly practice. My fastest lap so far is a 2:35, though thats with max downforce and everything else on default settings. I'll try to get one in tonight or tomorrow morning after I get a chance to test out a few tunes.
 
I'd say you might be OK as of right now since we don't have full grids. But if everyone qualified tomorrow morning and there's no extra grid spots, you wouldn't be able to participate without qualifying. Just FYI.
 
Ok. Just to clarify something about what's considered dirty at Spa. Unfortunately, we had someone use a little too much track just now at Eau Rouge. Here's a pic:

The red and white portion is OK but two wheels needs to stay on it.
