question about the Diablo Gameshark code

If you are using the Gameshark 2 like I am, it first prompts for an arbitray title for the file you are about to make. (ie "Diablo") After you complete that, it brings up a series of 16 space lines (each 2 by 8). Pretty self explanatory what to do from here...

I entered all 30 lines as one code and it worked. I got the Diablo and it rules.

I tried doing the same thing to get the Stratos WRC. Didn't work. I was in the process of entereing 15 different codes to get the Stratos when my Gameshark went kaput.

Oops. I guess I should have posted this in the Hybrids and Gameshark forum.

I got the Stratos' too. The rally one looks great, but is a bit tail happy. I then experimented with the street version. The first time, I turned a stage III NA MR2 into an orange Stratos (looks pretty yellow to me). It was cool, but HP was under 300--not quite enough. Then I used a Supra with a stage IV turbo and race intercooler. The resulting Red Stratos was a 608 HP beast (822 kg by the way), but that was too much. Finally, I made a green one (best color for this model in my opinion) using another MR2, but with only a stage 3 turbo and race intercooler. That's more like it -- I want to say it has about 500. It still out-performs all the JGTC's. The thing is a rocket out of the corners.

A couple notes. I also made the Porsche GT3 (911/996). I remember seeing a burgundy one in a screenshot, but the only color code I have is for yellow. Anyway, the car is ok, but undergeared and with no way to buy a race transmission or any other mods, its pretty much useless for racing.

IMPORTANT. Make sure you got what you want before you save your game. The Diablo ($950,000 I think) can be bought/sold/traded, but neither the Porsche nor the Lancias can be gotten rid of. The only way to remove it from your garage is to save another game over it.

Thats the reason why I got a Sharkport instead of a Gameshark. That way I can always take the car out and replace it. I got the Stratos as well, both. Though the Rally version is about 9 HP less than the others with around 300 it can keep up easily. Its tail happy but you just need to know how much to turn it...
