How can it have corvette suspension? Vette's use a transverse leaf spring.

Back in the day people would install C4 IRS systems on their trucks, though most of the time they installed coilovers instead of the leaf spring.

That must be a hell of a lot of work or is the subframe close in design. I know very little about C4s and chevy trucks LOL.

Snowblower powered by a 302 V8. 5 liter now eater.

With many parts of the country experiencing continuing blasts of chilly winter air, Jack Frost has made his arrival known. Snow and ice and a wet, wintry mix of the two has hit just about every state except for Hawaii and Florida, which signals the end of driving season, and the long countdown to spring. For some it means lots and lots of snow shoveling to look forward to, though it doesn’t have to be boring, backbreaking work.

If you have this Ford 302 V8-powered truck-mounted snowblower, plowing the driveway might even be downright fun. Bangshift came across a Wisconsin craigslist ad selling this V8-powered snowblower. There will be no more worrying about blizzards with this piece of mind in your yard.

This 8-foot snowblower is some commercial-grade material, capable of clearing most driveways in just one pass. The motor is a ‘1995 roller-camshaft motor, one of the good ones that will go forever and ever if treated right. The snowblower motor has its own tachometer, oil pressure and temperature gauges, though overheating isn’t likely to be a worry for this machine.

The motor has been wired to operate via the cab completely, though the sweet-looking ‘77 Ford F350 pictured in the photos is unfortunately not for sale as well. Even at just 1,800 RPM, the seller claims the blower launches the snow far and wide, though doesn’t recommend using it in a city, or really around people. It’ll take $4,900 to buy this ridiculous contraption, but you’ll never have to worry about shoveling the driveway again.

I want it HARD.

It kinda makes sense though :D
I'd rather use a 20B instead of a V8, personally. (Rotary power!) But those aren't cheap.

For the Ranger, we were just going to leave it as a V6, largely because neither of us feels like attempting an engine swap.

Dump a 302 in it. You will get nowhere with that V6 and its more cost effective to use the V8.

Believe it or not, not every vehicle needs a V8 to be fast or powerful. Hence the STi, and the Supra. They'd both put a Mustang in its place, all while rarely visiting the gas station.

Lawl STi good on gas over a modern EFI V8. LOL I get better MPG with my old school '95 Cobra vs my former Roommates '04 STi.

I'm well aware, but for the fact it would be easier and cheaper to use those parts in the long run is why I suggested it.

306 Stroker...lolwut. All you need is a .030 overbore to make a 306. Other than that I see nothing questionable about it.

306 is not a stroker. Its a 302 with a .30 Overbore. Stroker 302s are 331 and 347. Tbirds came with the EFI 5.0 until the 93 model year. Those Tbirds are cool cars. Just a major PITA to work on.

The only thing that looks modified on that engine is the intake system...and I'd argue the manifold underneath the top intake isn't anything but stock, and the ingestion which got converted to an MSD system over DSII. I can't say what inside though, and that's kind of how I like it. Personally I hate working on the EFI engines...there is way too much extra crap on them...I'd rather have a carbed motor. Much easier and less junk.

Yep that Trick flow upper will not bolt to a stock 5.0 HO lower. It has a different port setup.
What funny is the whole EFI setup minus the ECU on those tbirds is the exact same as the 94-95 5.0 Mustangs. Its funny I am 180 of you I would have EFI over carb any day.
