when you select the pics of the box you'll see its actually the exact same car...

keep in mind that it is a toy grade r/c, it won't be very fast, upgradable, or usually even repairable...
also I've never heard of that brand before

Well that's good cause its my first time buying rc cars and i just want something simple.

Gonna buy this one and the normal p1 and fxx-k

Thanks for the reply @Zychotic1 :)

You can have a Tamiya TT-01 kit for about $90-ish USD, plus maybe $50 in transmitter and a steering servo and it will be quite a bit better than a typical toy grade RC lol
Granted, you have to build and paint the Tamiya, but that is half the fun with RC IMO. Even the RTR's I occasionally buy I end up altering over time, as I randomly upgrade parts that break or parts I am not as happy with.
Anyway a couple new RC purchases, both Axials:

@Venom800tt How do you like the SCX10.3? Recently sold my Redcat Gen 8 after buying the Axial UMG10 6x6 and didn't have a need for the Gen 8 anymore. I'm still not liking the fact they put a 2 in 1 esc on that truck....

Completely forgot about this topic, hence the late reply lol...
Anyway I like the SCX10.3 a lot, in general much more capable than my old SCX10.1. Did a few upgrades such as adding a 2nd servo to allow for the 2 speed function, adding steel wheels with different tires (still 1.9" diameter), and did a fender delete. Might do a few other mods such as a winch and light bar eventually. Just gotta find the spare winch I have somewhere...

Anyway I got another R/C a couple months after, and is a lot bigger...
RC4WD 1/16 Overland 6x6:

Fitting that box in the Miata required dropping the top so it could actually fit in the passenger seat lol...

The SCX10.3 as it is now:

Also not quite a car or truck, but it is a land vehicle :sly:

Have actually had it for around 6 months, but never posted it for some odd reason. It is made by Heng Long (the Tamiya is waaaaay too expensive lol) and has metal upgraded tracks, drive sprocket, and idler gear, along with a slip-ring and turret gear for 360 degree turret rotation.

Now that is some family off roading @ND4SPD
The Overland 6x6 has an empty weight of 15 lbs, and a max payload of 22 lbs for a 37 lb max weight. A 15 pack of canned soda fits in the bed lol...

hello, just trying to buy a mini z after having 2 tamiya.
does it really matter what kind of batteries i use for the remote? i see a point for special batteries for the car, but the remote?

"does it matter" no not really, but do yourself the favor of buying rechargables and a charger for it... depending on how often you run, the investments will pay itself back within a few months (or quicker)

in the old days a set of batteries would last about 3 weekends then need replaced, rechargables paid themselves off after the 2nd recharge lol

Got another RC recently, a Losi Baja Rey:

Also a group pic of the bulk of my R/C land vehicles:

I count 10 vehicles being roughly on the same scale...
The Baja seems way too big compared to the others...

how come there are less remote control than vehicle? Do some share the same frequency?

The Baja Rey (baja truck) is sold as a 1/10, but it really is closer to 1/9 scale or so. The big silver Mercedes Benz truck is 1/14 scale, while the M1 Abrams is 1/16. The Can-Am side by side is sold as a 1/18, but is more of a 1/10 going by the actual scale lol. RC scales are often... odd.
And yes, multiple vehicles are on some transmitters. Modern transmitters allow for multiple model saves, so that you don't need a bunch of transmitters. I actually could consolidate more of them onto my 3 main transmitters, but I do like having extra radios for friends to use.
Also forgot to post this, which I got back in December as a Christmas present to myself:
Arrma Felony 6S 1/7 scale street car:

Have gotten bitten by the crawler / trail truck bug... got some 1/24 scale and a couple of 1/10 TRX-4's. I'm surprised I'm still alive - the wife not killing me and taking the insurance money is a big sign that she like's me, at least a little.

Thanks for looking in!!!

I keep forgetting we have this group...
I've finally found a local group to go race my monster truck with... my txt2 proved to be "ill performing" when paired up against the new LMTs so I got real creative and built this beast

I plan on racing at the Bigfoot open house next weekend so watch for me in the trigger king coverage.

Also check out our local group

Finally got my crap together and got back out to a track to race...

First time running off-road on carpet. I'm not a huge fan of off-road (always enjoyed road racing more) and have never run on carpet. Definitely a learning curve as there is a crap-ton of traction. Had a great time though and ready to go back.

Fortunate enough to live near a really nice track, too.

Ok, large update with my RC shenanigans...
I started racing for fun with the RC group I have been in for the past couple years. We race Tamiya Euro Trucks, which are TT-01 based. Super fun, as we race them stock sans the optional Tamiya ball bearings. Only attempt at racing that I really have liked so far. Everyone in the group blames me for it starting because I would always bring random Tamiya touring cars when we would go rock crawling
Anyway pics of all the crap, plus a large group shot and list:

TT-01 Euro Truck:

TC-01 Formula E Gen 2:

FMS FCX-24 and Traxxas TRX4M:

FMS FCX-24 with long wheelbase rear trailing arms and drive shaft:

Revived my Tamiya TB-04 after stealing all the electronics from it:

Flatbed not mine The rest however.....
Okay so, understand I got my first RC when I was 3. Less than a month from now I will be 41. In the first shot the Simi is my first "hobby grade" Traxxas Stampede I got at age 9. The stadium truck with the tag is the first race truck I drove. My track, So Cal Raceway, owned it at the time. When they closed, I took home. That's the short of my RC life.
So yes, even my RCs have Viper bodys.

Got my Xray X12 '23 together, need to get the body mounted to run GT12.
