I'm reading elsewhere that the car sucks. Maybe a collectible but doesn't par with vehicles in its class even with tuning. Is it really worth it?

It isn't as fast, but with a decent tune it is a blast to drive. Can break 6mins at 650pp on the ring. Definite buy of you ask me.

Forget about what people say. Get it. Just get a good tune for it and it will win some races for you :)

I let the car go. I'd rather purchase the road version.
I did encounter the toyota 7 race car. Is it worth buying it for 4 million. Or should I just win it from.like the wind?

I believe it's true, the R390 GT1 Race Car '98 is not as fast as other cars in the same class/PP range
BUT it IS fast and it IS fun to drive. I say buy it.

Ive read the cars are low on torque. Since I don't have unlimited ce I'd rather wait for the road car.

Go to the seasonals, Indy road course, 620pp, you can get 1.5m credits a race, w/low pp car. Use the Acura HSC Concept `04.

I snagged it when I saw it in the UCD. It's nothing really special, but it's far from bad. I have both the race and road car versions. For the price, it is probably lacking in performance, but the road-going version handles quite well. I've always loved the R390. Too bad Nissan never made it anything other than for homologation purposes. It would've been one hell of a car.

What race is this?

I'm guessing the new supercars seasonal. I think you are better off doing the aspec challenge 4 on Nurburgring. 1million in about 6mins

The only cars in its class, the old GT1, are the Mercedes-Benz CLK-LM, Toyota GT-One and McLaren F1 GTR.

But out of the broader category of Le Mans cars, it's far from the best, but still great fun to drive.

I just like the Indy road course track, it breaks the monotony of Nurb.(Which is my all time fav.)
Lately I`ve been doing night runs on Nurb. Great and challenging.
