Would it be acceptable to do race writeups rather than videos?

Moar RP for everyone! :dopey:

Eh, why not, it's not like I have to create separate cars for the extra drivers or anything. Ok, my fellow drivers for the #76 Ferrari 360 Modena are the following:

  1. Mafty Navilles Erin, a former army member, with a limited racing knowledge. However, he is quite agressive, and eager to do well on my team. He's also the one who named TKU's GT entry after himself...
  2. Joseph Carter-Jones, youngest driver of the team from the USA. He only has kart experience behind him, but he has tested several Formula cars before joining the TKU-GT ranks.
Welp, I know of at least one driver to add to my car

Let me guess, is it Freddie Scarybear whatsit?

I was tempted to do a complete change on the driver department and have Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy as drivers, but not only would that work better with a livery more similar to the one I'll be using in GTPFS (cue the epic amounts of death), I have now found the actual names of the two drivers whose last names I never fully knew :sly:

What's that refering to? What do you have in mind, you smart Danish alec...

Let me give you a hint: one of them started racing in a european capital at the age of 15, the other is more famous for his boxing skills (or lack thereof). That, and they're both related to Jaws.

Presser time!

#79 WEC/GTC Team unveils their new scheme:

It's a revision on the Porsche cup scheme, so along with the cars the paint has merely been revised. The base scheme will run in both series, with the WEC cars having an additional number on the hood and the special endurance lights. That said, Team chief B.K.Glover is much happier about it this time than he was last season. Also like last season, the car is bare of sponsors, this year absolutely bare, and no one knows why the man still hasn't put pen to paper and get decals on the car. Perhaps in time, but for now we get to see the new car out of the NCTX shed.

Since I have nothing else to do, and this thread is kinda dead, allow me to introduce my B-Spec drivers revived from GT5.

  • Daniel Cruz: A ex-Super GT driver hailing from the Philippines, Cruz has a very calm, relaxed driving style that often results in verbal abuse from crew chiefs for not being aggressive enough. Fortunately for him, endurance racing may fit his style perfectly.
  • Frank O'Kelly: An Irish TT driver living life on the edge, a tragic crash at the Isle Of Man left him in the hospital for about a year and a half. He's making his comeback to racing in something a little safer with 4 wheels.
  • Ashleigh Glass: Glass was born and raised in the Midwest, so naturally, with all the fields around her, she took up RallyCross. Immensely successful at the Pro-Am level, her Pro debut wasn't so great to say the least. Maybe it's the dirt portion of the track she's not good at. Maybe it's the super-agressive driving. Who knows?

Can I change to Saleen? :)

I apologize for being so quiet but I have been busy behind the scenes. That, and I had to get my car done for rally's series! I've been updating the spreadsheet and the OP right along as people have been posting.

Driver names can be full names - nevermind about that first letter "dot" last name thing. I added a team/driver profile to the OP. For those that are interested, feel free to do a little write up about your team and your drivers and I'll post it there as I've already done with the first 2 entries quoted above.

Independent drivers have been given generic team names as promised, for referencing purposes. Feel free to submit your own team name at any time.

Here's the current sign up list (#, name, make, team):

Tomorrow Afternoon, DurWinning will announce the 3 drivers he will have to operate the #20 Maserati MC12 Prototype. The drivers are....up and coming as the saying goes, but Dur promises that they have the desire and the heart to make it in this series.

@Gerarghini PM me and I'll work something out. Also what's minimum number of drivers per car?
Being endurance racing, there should be at least 2 drivers. Max is 3. But it's all in fun: you can have just one if you want or not name any. You might need a Red Bull iv-drip though to make it through a 24 hour race with just one driver. :D

Today was supposed to be the day DurWinning would announce his new drivers for the #20 Maserati MC12. However due to some scheduling difficulties the announcement has been delayed until tomorrow afternoon. We apologize for this inconvenience.

After a small delay, the time has come. I proudly present to you the 3 drivers operating the #20 Maserati MC12:

1st: Kenny Blankenship. A down home southern boy with the heart to race. Born in 1980 in a small town in rural Texas. His father was a successful Nascar Winston Cup driver back in 1985. Kenny took to his father's roots and began in Sprint Cars at small, dirt ovals. He proceeded to work his way up and (with help from his father) made it to the Nascar Craftsman Truck Series in 1999. He was fierce and won numerous races over his career, but he could never clinch the championship. He stayed there for 9 years until he received an offer to drive a V8 Touring Car in Australia. But his luck changed when in 2013, he suffered a broken leg, a collapsed lung, and a cracked skull in a horrible crash at Bathurst. After a year and a half of rehab, Kenny is ready to get back into racing, and here is his ticket back in.

2nd: Vic Romano. The man from the East Coast looking to claim his dominance in endurance racing. Born in 1988, he is the youngest of the three drivers. He grew up fairly comfortable. His father was a successful businessman and his mother owned a highly profitable 4-star restaurant. Vic's love for racing came in 2000. After showing an interest in cars, his father decided to take him to 2000 24 Hours of Le Mans. After the race, Vic fell in love with the sport of Endurance Racing. He began his motorsport career soon afterwards, participating as a driver in 2-4 hour races and as a backup driver in 6-10 hour races. He has the skills needed, but can he handle the pressure.

3rd: Tenneal Miyamoto. The Japanese Captain (or just Captain, he doesn't really care). Born in 1985, Tenneal grew up in the Shizuoka Prefecture in Japan. His parents urged him to get amazing grades and become a lawyer. Tenneal had other ideas. In 1999 he witnessed Ukyo Katayama set the LMP record at Fuji speedway in the Toyota GT-One. He loved the sense of speed and competition. Going against his parent wishes, Tenneal got involved in small race organizations. But in 2007, he was given an oppurtunity of a life time. He was able to convince a private team to let him compete in the JGTC GT300 class. After spending some time in the GT300 class, Tenneal has chosen to continue his dream, and make the leap to Endurance racing. It'll be interesting to see how this will play out.

And that's the 3 drivers. All men are ready and are very eager to begin the first race. However before any of that, the car must be made and wrapped up in our sponsors. Who is our sponsor you might ask? Stay tuned to find out.

3-to-2: The entire crew is made up of the Babaganoosh family.

3-to-1: The PR department is run by the LeDouche family, with Guy (pronounced Gee) as the lead rep.

10-to-1: Kenny has a bigger contract due to being related to team manager.

200-to-1: Authorities are able to control the entourage of the team.

It will be both @Gerarghini's and mine once those small things are changed. That's kinda why I was wondering how hard those things would be.
Straight up? Difficult. Even with GIMP, the shading will throw off much of the effort to swap the colors, and it's too small to be submitted as is....

We'll discuss this away from here, just consider yourself lucky.
