So you must not have to pit?

If not, just calculating your best opening and race lap, you have 11 seconds extra to get around the AI in that one lap and still make 15'50. I know that it's not possible to run at that high a level for 8 laps, but how about this......

Even if you do a 1'41 opener, and run 8 laps @ 1'32.5 average, you still have almost 4 seconds extra on the AI lap to pass and still make 15'50. So you could do a 1'36.5 on the AI lap and still get it. Is this possible?

But I don't know how tire wear is affecting your lap times is the only thing.....these are just ideal situations. And I know it's hard to slow down on a lap. Screws up the timing.
 
Yesterday i just realized that i will probably win my round just with a 5'39.0 time. That´s my goal now. I did one messy 5'40.7 and i was absolutely - 1.016 down of it when i lost the lap. =/

But i will be working and i will get that **** of lap all the way in a low 5'39 time.

Guys, please, if you can do just one lap in my combo, please do it, i need the more references as possible, just Holl01 ran on my combo yet. :indiff:

Since i know Tannis is on 5'40, i would like to know what everyone´s doing also. Maybe looking to my teamates time, so i can figure out how good or bad i am acting. ;)

My best T1 and T2 so far: 35.3 and 1'02.3, but i have been mostly in 35.6 and 1'02.6.

I can surely make one 5'39, maybe fluking it all, 5'39.0.

But i would love to listen to some tips, times or settings from you guys. ;)

I will be posting my settings here still today, as i am in college right now. So i would ask PLEASE someone run on my settings and tell me if they are good! I know that different driving styles will suit different settings, but u can have a brief view of them at least! Maybe im runing on the worst settings ever and i dunno LOL. :sly: :scared:
 
MS, im doing too Soft stints
i pit on the end of lap 5~

i can consistently stay within .1 of 1'31.7xx either it be faster or slower by .1
 
hm.... Curtis try putting the AI on softer tyres so they lap faster. Put them on soft compound as you can. Maybe Meds? that way they dont pit but should still be fast enough not to get laped.

See how you go mate!
 
dont want them to be fast at the start either, then i will have the same problem at the start

right now my opening lap is killer, so not sure... :S
 
damn lap 8 is a killer! there's not a lot of ways around it. so if you run your killer opener, and then average 1'31.75 for the next nine laps, that leaves you with about 23 seconds for a pit to get 15'50. I don't know. 23 seconds is about how long the pit takes isn't it? Or you go the whole way on hards with no pit, put AI on softer so they do pit? That way u can go 2.3 seconds slower per lap, and maybe get around lapping all the AI.

Incidentally, well done MR8. You finished 5 places higher than I would have... :D

If anyone else wants any crap-arse times to make them feel better for their race, let me know. I'll try to drive 'em...

Wow, nice results of race 3, im sure i could had make one 59.6 for that race, but anyways, nice results MR8, u did very well. ;)

Finally, finally, finally broke thru the 2'40 barrier. Got a 2'40.941 in the bag now.
What a relief.
There is still between .2 to .3 to get that I can see, but this is a nice milestone to get over.

BTW, Toffe has graciously agreed to partner up on this race with me. He has done well in WRS races similar to this one, and I have no doubt that he will be able to figure this quirky little ride out in short order. GO US!! :)

Also, congrats to MR8 and Alpine. Very nice finishes against some VERY stiff competition. 👍

I'm gonna post my latest best replay just in case........

@ Veil. I tried your setup last night, and it is VERY fast. You have all but the slightest bit of turbo lag tuned out. If you are able to control the car with this setup, I would say that it is good. The aggressive amount of camber makes it a bit too unstable for me, but it turns in very fast indeed. I hope you can stay off the curbs, because the suspension bottoms out quickly on them resulting in spins for me. Are you stretching out 6th gear in auto 14? I had to, because I ran out of gear on the straights.

Hopefully Vexd will be able to give you some better feedback, as he is much better on the Nurb than I.

Altough i figured out now that using the STOCK settings mostly, its even better. LOL 💡

Did u put the turbo on the car? Because its just allowed the NA tune3 and not the turbo.

Can´t understand the settings on gt4, seemed that in gt3, any change was so much more clear to the car´s behavior than it is in gt4.

That´s why i wanted my combo to be on arcade mode.
 
Just did one 5'39.7xx in my combo, at least now i got one 39 clean.

But this lap its not on my limit so far, since i lost a lap in 5'38.8, but i will get it.

Of all 3 sectors i lost .278 off my 'Ultimate lap'

This is extremely good, as car is hard to drive perfect for all turns.

Very happy with this run. Will try to go faster still but this lap is definetly BC worthy IMO.

Can one of you guys tell me what holl01's time is so I can turn it in? A PAL replay with no disclosure of what the time is does not help me at all...:grumpy:

I can wait if he's still working on it. He said he was done so I was gonna turn it in about 24 hours from now since I have 2 days off from work. holl01, you're welcome to work on it up to the last minute as long as the time gets submitted before the deadline.👍 Once again i'll be working that day so if you work on it leading up to the deadline you'll have to make sure it gets turned in by you or Mr P or somebody. Thanks.
