I was talking about fasj's time. I know on mine you never need to do that but I was saying since the tracks are similar I was refering to that part of the track and they said it was illegal.

Although for fasj's time using that concrete after T1 saves a ton of time especially in a very fast car, maybe a second there.

yes, i clear that issue with dion, and yes, we can use those areas:tup:

about the last replay, would be good to check. i already asked shigspeed to check, and would be good for safety reasons if you can take a look at it also. in the 1´26´073 replay, i have a very close third wheel off, before T1, in the fast right-left sequence. clean to me, but i would like to hear a second opinion.👍

it definately is too hard to tell. From the picture I have here if it continued it's motion only the front right tire would be on and the back left would go over a piece of grass in between the white line and rumble strip. however I do see that when the car hits the rumble that it slides out so the back tire may go over legal ground.

playing it in full speed is just too hard to tell and trying to pause on the spot is too inaccurate. I guess if you could get the exact spot and post a pic it'll prove it.

edit* got a clear pic of it and the tire looks like its 1 inch off the white line in the grass
 
What are rulings in close ones like this that are too hard to tell.

Does the driver get the benefit of the doubt?
 
definetly not. If its really that close you should use your next best, or just beat it :sly:.

Hopefully if you get a close time, but its a little slower save it and keep it. I would rather lose a possible position by submitting your 2nd best than getting a DQ.

Minorshunt submitted his 2nd best last year and turned out he still finsihed 2nd, and if he submitted his best, he would still only get 2nd and may risk DQ.

no way does it save a tonne of tie there, only about .2 or so, if even. nice 3rd from smal fryz, well done mate:tup:

yeah... thanks for the info... i have to beat this lap... i was 0´1 up on the ghost last night and made a dumb mistake in the last turn... and since know i´m told that one driver (czesimo) has a 1´25´xxx, most likely 1´25´9 according to ben, i really have to get down to 1´25´9.

my second best save would be 1´26´201.
thanks again for the analisys, i suck with taking pics and analyser, that´s why i will post my replay to be checked before submitting

That was insane. The ref was a ****tard though.

My mates and I pulled an allnighter. 5am is a **** time for it to be on, but I was too wasted by then to care :sly:

When is our next match on? Tuesday I think. When we spank Italy.

I woke up at 6am to go moto riding, so i saw the last half. Left at 7am once the match was over.

Anyway submitting Round 2 now.

Just for reference in future.

GTP's deadline is in approx 1hr 20mins from the time of this post. However i would not like it to come down that close :p, please try to get all times in to me with ~5hrs to spare so i have some time up my sleeve just incase.

i was going superb, had my best T2 ever, then i started to shake, it was bizarre and i screwed the last turn, lost 0´3 there.

right now i just need to follow my ghost and overtake him for a 1´25´7. that will make me a very happy man.

I've been trying for 3 hours. I havn't slept since 7am yesterday. I'm pretty much dieing here. I don't think I can beat this lap. So I'll post it now.

I might get another chance to run it, but I'm working both days this weekend and going out saturday night. But I'll try, if not, this will have to do.

good luck fasj8 on ur 1'25 quest, next time ur on a hotlap, think as if ur on a **** lap and that it means nothing if u crash, thats what i do to avoid those damn hotlap nerves, which 90 percent of the time will force u to stuff up:crazy:

oh well casio, if it werent for the soccer and stuff, u might have had 1 more decent session to extract that 1'29, not to be, i'm sure u'll finish up there in the ladder though...try and squeeze in 1 more session if u can:tup: u stupid idiot!

Try for that 5'42 👍, You never know, after a bit of a break and you come back to your combo you may be able to find some extra time. Just give it 1 last shot at least 👍

Hotboi, you know Hugo is in your race? You will have to push 100% to be able to beat him. If you can, could you please have 1 more shot before you go to EWSC?

na, i wont even try and beat it, too hard, and no time to spare at all except for eswc, besides, it takes a pretty big step to go from a low 44, to a low 43, i'm not worried about being beaten
 
Well I beat out the last 2 players in the field on my last day and at least no one beat me by a little bit.

Nothing I could of done vs the top few since I didnt think my perfect lap would be that low :sick:

Gonna have a crack at my race again tonight which ought to push me over the 20 hours of trying barrier. On two separate races I've had a 1'31.8 first lap and a 1'28.0 second lap so in theory I can get a 2'59.8 but damn I'll have to be perfect :crazy: any idea on anyone other than the freaky zoky for my race Fryz??? Are there gonna be many under 2'59???
 
my hands still hurt, my eyes almost bleed, but here it is:

1´25´940

didn´t get nervous in this lap because it wasen´t perfect. i left 0´250 in the track, and i still have 3 more sessions to get those.

the good thing is that with a 25 now i have a chance in the race. 1´25´7 is the ultimate goal.

man, its tougher than is seems. i have like 50 or more laps under 1´26´4 in this last mega session. but its so hard to get all corners linked...:crazy:
i literally almost got insane with this... almost spanked my DS2, but then i remembered that i only have one, so i still need him:sly:

back with more good news (hopefully) tomorrow night.

latest replays just for safety measures. i don´t want to happen to me what just happened to itto:scared:

cool lpa fransisco, i had an hour at ur combo again and managed an ok 1'26.068 but i ha da dreadful last sector, i reckon i could manage a .8xx with another hour, really impressive lap fasj8, good luck on ur .7xx quest and super job jymro, great result.
 
Update:

I give up. I hate this combo right now. Been hunting Casio's lap all day. Reached 1'30.289 (Casio's is 1'30.252). This feels so bad. Second time in BC, second time beaten with almost smallest possible margin, second time feeling there's more time to take, but just can't take it.

I'm not gonna play GT4 for some time after this... Sometimes I really hate this game.:yuck:

Anyway, good work Casio.
 
Brilliant effort Toffe 👍, you were a brilliant help to this team and its a shame your time wont be recongised, but we as a team recongnise your effort it will not go un noticed mate 👍.

well, this one i need a check because since i can´t play tomorrow, most likely will be my submitted time.

the lap is 1´25´851, but there´s a close call at the end. i take a photo, watched from different cameras, and it looks good to me. but i think we need a second opinion before dion can submit this.

the other lap that is posted (1´25´814) is dirty, but i couldn´t tell which one was the clean, so there´s two replays here
