How Long Do We Run on GT6?

  • End it now

  • Run a few more

  • Run regularly for a while

  • Run as much as we can until GT Sport

There likely will be a room this evening. How long it lasts depends on whether the TIRE Megane race goes ahead for those of us competing there.

I've been experimenting a bit, and thanks to @staydown-killen I figured out a way to fix the Formula Gran Turismo from being a tail happy, loose, piece of crap. Low horsepower, racing Hards in the back, and racing softs in the front, and voila.

Also while on the topic of Open Wheel, I've been experimenting with the LCC Rocket for an Open Tuning open wheel series.

So, if you don't know what else to do, and you have a FGT, and an LCC Rocket, you'll be fine.

Thinking of the first lobby being this:

I experimented with the LCC for GPL Season 2, and put a considerable amount of hours into testing with various power and grip combinations. If you are going to make it unrestricted tuning with no ABS, you have to make it very low power with CS or CM. Anything more, you will be asking for trouble - the original GPL season had some of the best GT6 racers filling the grid, and they were twitchy enough for us all to have several accidents.

Would you recommend mixed compounds, as with the FGT?

Definitely not. Mixed compounds are a very artificial way of making a blanket solution to handling issues, and do much more in taking away stability and natural car movement. Equal grip on all four corners ensures the car is always predictable.

Well, the TIRE race we've had to delay, so I'll show up to Fun Runs... Probably. I suppose I need something to stop me obsessing over The Crew Wild Run beta.
