Does it ever "shower" on weather tracks. Every time it rains for me it seams to last for hours.

It depends on the settings that you adjust. The weather can change alot or not much at all. I believe you cant adjust the weather settings for endurance races, but I could be wrong.

I've seen it rain for 1-10 minutes now and then. I've even seen it rain so briefly that I never saw any rain, just my wipers ran 2-3 times back and forth then stopped.

This was in lounge/practice however... but I've never seen rain at all in the few weather enabled A-spec races I've done.

Are you kidding?
It was raining my whole Susuka 1000, 8 hours strait :(

That's just bad luck ^^^

It must have been horrible.

Fixed races that you'd find in A-Spec or Seasonal Events don't have the option. It's only an option when it isn't a legitimate GT5 race that you get credits/XP for completing.

It can vary. I have had small rainshowers lasting up to 10 minutes. The longer ones often produce sleet along with the rain, if your lucky.

Currently doing the Le mans 24h. 19 hours in. been raining since hour 2.

The key to the Suzuka race is to not start if it's raining when you enter the race start screen. It will add (I think) 2 hours roughly? Best to exit and re-enter until its clear, I did and there was nary a drop :sly:

Yeah you do get slight showers. Some lasting less than 5 minuites. Some lasting hours on end

I was kind of hoping the weather changeability option setting would now make it more likely for more varied weather in a shorter period, but I haven't tried that yet. Anyone with experience with that setting?

Definitely changes weather at a more rapid rate. It can go from sunny to cloudy/rainy in only a few minutes. It's pretty random, so it's not like it goes in that order all the time.

Just finished the 24 hour le mans. rained for 22 hours of it. its annoying.

It does shower, just look at either B-Spec seasonal. It rains heavily and then it levels out for a short period of time, then if stops raining. It would be cool if it showered without any standing water.

I was just shy of that mark. Rained most of mine when I did it.
