Other "classic" Rallye cars we alredy know from FM4 could be:

Ford Escort MkII
Fiat Abarth 131
Lancia 037

and additional bodykits for

Audi SportQuattro
Lancia Delta
Lancia Delta S4
Lancia Stratos
Mini Cooper
Nissan 280ZX
Pug 205TI16
Ford RS200

They mention building your own car before saying Five classic platforms, perhaps this could mean Group. N, Group B, Late 90s Group A, modern WRC and something similar to R2 or 3? Five more cars seems a little limited.

That was my first impression too, but this pack seems to be more about new roads/trails and events and gameplay modes, rather than more cars. I hope it's plenty of both.

I keep seeing people mentioning the 2005 Impreza in the Facebook photos but I can't see it, can somebody post up the picture here?

Wow that sucks, seems the Rally expansion pack will not be a part of the open world after all. It will be a seperate mode entirely that you enter via menu. In my opinion, the value of the season pass and this expansion pack just took a huge hit. What a bummer.

Why does it feel like PG/T10 are doing everything they can to kill this spinoff before it ever even gets off the ground?

I already looked everywhere for a construction area or closed road or something. It was pretty clear the Rally Pack wasn't going to connect into the map, and the prospect of people with and without the pack free-roaming together is an acceptable reason. I hope this means we'll get loooong, spaghetti-strand, point-to-point routes that never cover the same road twice between stages -- if it's not a map area, they don't have to make it "free-roam friendly" at all.

How many people want nothing but "more Colorado" anyway? We could get a whole suite of locales. Coastal areas, African savanna, European cliffside roads...sounds great to me!

Wouldnt they have to add the car first? :embarrassed:

errrm ... well, yes ... that seventies Datsun Z-thing *youknowwhatimean*

another thing I do not remember very well:

Wasn't the map divided into 3 or 4 open areas in the Forza demo?
So I think the map is going to be expanded in the future?!

The Fairlady Z432. :)

I wouldn't mind having the S130 280ZX or Z31 300ZX. We could do to get back the Z32 300ZX from FM4, too.

There was a free roam area in Gladstone, a race in Red Rock, and a race at Finley Dam. Those were the three "areas."

Yeah, I think a lot of people are concerned that it's a really weak expansion with little to shout about. If it is, I think the Horizon offshoot will be dead, because it is shaping up to be a pure cash grab with little of T10's usual vfm.

The fact that it's called a "rally expansion pack" sent alarm bells ringing from my pov. If they had called it a "map expansion pack" I would have been a lot more excited. Don't think it's going to be anything special tbh. Horizon has turned out to be quite disappointing in comparison to FM4.

Yes this dlc will make or break the future of Horizon. If its disappointing, I think most people will just be done with the game. But if its really impressive then it will pull more people into the game. I had fun with the rental but I am waiting to see how this DLC turns out before I make a purchase. Otherwise I will wait until the price drops to around $20.00.

There's NOTHING known about it, and I'm pretty sure that there's a good reason for that. And that reason is, quite likely, that PG/MS are going sell recycled crap to us again.

Wow, only 6 more days? I forgot all about this and time just flew. But yeah, really fishy there's no info on it this close to release. I have a feeling people aren't going to like this. The backlash might be worse than the reaction to the first two DLC packs. Fingers crossed that we're wrong here.

Yup no news is always bad news when it comes to games. The less you hear, the worse it usually is. So I dont have my hopes set high at all. :boggled:

Some people like surprises for the Holidays - though usually not the people shelling out the money.

If the rally pack is as bad as I am currently expecting it to be, the backlash will, indeed, be significant. The official Forza boards are pretty strictly moderated - moreso by some die-hard Forza fanboys than by the moderators themselves - but this might be something even they can't scream down.

It's sure as hell going to be a slugfest on Facebook, though. Which might turn out to be quite interesting

I hope it's good, I have been waiting on this DLC to rescue horizon for me which has fizzled out in my opinion. At first I was loving it but since I completed the single player I have lost interest

Well, it's now almost Friday morning in the UK- 4 days till release and no news on this supposedly miraculous "Rally Pack?" I have a feeling it's really gonna hit the fan once everyone gets wind of what the pack contains. Extremely disappointed in Horizon, tbh. I thought it would be a far bigger game with much better DLC. And so many people keep scoffing at TDU....I'd take TDU in a heartbeat over Horizon.

Not real worried here. I enjoy driving in this game a lot, so anything that will provide some more routes to drive is guaranteed to be good.

Yeah, I've seen the forums over there. Really makes me not want to join. I'm content right here on FP.

I'm still going to be pretty disappointed if this is subpar since I bought the season pass, but I generally agree. I will still continue playing and enjoying Horizon like nothing happened.
