So, I was just curious to see what your favorite tracks from the entire GT series (including Eiger) were and why. Or you just name your favorite parts of the track...
(Editor's note: I pm'ed the mods to see if this is ok to post here.)
1. Nurburgring - Legendary, challenging & great fun on any car from an Elan to a Pescarolo.
2. La Sarthe - Same as above.
3. Suzuka - Love the way this track flows...turns 1-6 requires a great rythmn.
4. Monaco - From Massenet through the casino all the way through the tunnel.
5. Infineon - Great elevation changes.
6. Seattle Circuit - Crazy elevation changes & lots of passing opportunities.
7. Trial Mountain Circuit - Same as above.
8. Pikes Peak Hill Climb - The grand-daddy of rallye tracks...Would be ranked higher if I was better in rallying & didn't crash as much.
9. Apricot Hill Raceway - Another great flowing track.
T10. Opera Paris/Rome - One is a high-speed circuit & the other a highly technical one. I like them both a lot.
11. Red Rock Valley Speedway - A fairly simple high speed track, great track layout.
12. Grand Valley Speedway - tunnels, tunnels, tunnels...Would be ranked higher if GT4 had better sound!!
13. Special Stage Route 11 - Night racing in a technical road course. Love those chicanes with the guardrails nearby!!
14. Hong Kong - Love the harbor section. High speeds with 2 kinks in a beautiful setting.
T15. El Capitan/Grindelwald/Eiger Norwald* - The mountain tracks. All 3 are similar in concept but all 3 are fun in a distinct way.
16. Tokyo R246 - Love the high speed leafy area coming out of turn 5.
*Eiger could be ranked higher if I could race someone else in it, but that would have to wait.
