2) PD does not want to do so unless it's absolutely perfect and bug free. I don't think censorship is a big issue.

Yeah right, just like all of the other features in GT5 that were perfect and bug free, I'm sure.

We don't have a livery editor because PD is the least-efficient gaming studio of all time.

They settled for adding RM cars when they figured out just how much effort creating a livery editor requires.

I think the last guardian mob might have something to say about that.

No time for livery editor, guys. Busy helping Nissan. Everyday. We'll get back to you in 5 years.

Also never fprget Square/Enix 300+ man army of Final Fantasy Versus XIII which is ths undisputed king of the class but people love to speak total nonsense because it makes them smarter when they look themselves in the mirror.

Ever heard of a hyperbole?

PD may not be the "least-efficient gaming studio of all time", but they are quite inefficient and I got that point across with my post.

Ever heard of a hyperbole?

Ever heard of serious forum that tries really hard to stay on the level above Gamefaqs and similar brainholes?

If you don't want to feel quoted, than use proper wording and true opinion, not hyperboles.

You will make your life better and you will also make this forum a better place.

The reason why no car livery exists is due to lack of online networking capabilities, slow loading times and disc space issues.
The more data sent and received will destruct the current online capabilities, people already quit multiplayer due to slow loading times and online connection issues. And there's no call for it in single player mode, why style the cars you drive and not able to show them?

Maybe with the PS4 you'll see massive improvements offline and online. We can only hope.

I think this just about nailed it.
I'm sure there were time constraints and design flaws, but adding more stress to the current system how it is by having up to 16 unique liveries to load everytime you entered a room would probably make this game crash...more.

This may be off topic but hear me out.

If they were to include a livery editor (god hope they do), instead of buying for example Calsonic GTR GT500 from 2008, you buy the shell of the car (white paint) then you would go to the livery editor and pick out the Calsonic livery from 2008 or any other team from that year using the GTR sorta like the NFS Shift style. Also you can custom do a race livery yourself.

Anyway that's all I have to say really about livery editor..

I can't understand why people think a Livery Editor is worse.
Look at the Great Livery from the FM community.

This. Anyone who hasn't played FM3/4, has no idea what they are missing. There are some absolutely incredible pieces of work out there. A livery editor will improve Gran Turismo 1000 fold.

Gt6 should just have a body shop with bodykits with proper aero perposes maybe just style aswell. A proper paint shop. Aproper wheel shop with size ajustments with the grip increase u get with wider tyes and a good well thought out leivery editor.

The idea of "bare shells" is great. So you can buy a Super GT with a Petronas livery or paint it yourself. Same thing with NASCAR and DTM, you can choose a pre-made livery or paint them.

I can't see standard cars getting a livery editor since they are poorly detailed.
