I don't have a switch yet but I'll buy it sooner or later to play Zelda and SM Odyssey. :)

I didn't use any glitch because I was very careful with my game style. :) Also, there's nothing really that expensive in the game. Horses, clothes and nothing more. If you're reckless and careless, of course paying bounties and "revives" can get rather expensive...

When you finish the game you get 20.000$ to do whatever you want. I bought pretty much already and still have 18.900$. I had pretty much all the guns I wanted already before end game. Now I want to buy the rest of the items from the trapper and fencer (3.000 is more than enough) and maybe get another Arabian. Clothes are not that expensive and some of the items are dispensable.

I still find random items to sell from gunfights with other gangs ( jewelry, gold, money), from hunting (perfect pelts) and other small things.

I haven't tried fishing that much. I still have to go to the fishing shop ^^.

All in all, there's no need for money glitches unless you want to be an outlaw and don't worry with the mechanics of actually having the money to balance your crimes.

Once online comes, probably you'll get tones of chances to spend. ^^

I happened to see a youtube video that blew my mind of how many eastereggs are in this game. I dont consider them spoilers, but I'll hide them anyhow. But these eastereggs, will definately keep me playing after I finish the main story. Most of these I want to discover myself too. So much gameplay and I amnot even taking in account online. There might be loads of easter eggs, that maybe arent even discovered yet.

There are multiple bigfoot, multiple UFO's, ghosts, zombies, vampire, mutants, robots, movie references etc.

I’m a fairly sure, that at this point, my horse has suffered pretty severe brain damage

You do realise you control the horse yourself? I got my level 4 bonding dappled thoroughbred killed, because I used the cinematic mode autodrive feature. I went out for a smoke, came back and apparantly respawned with a tenessee walker, with my thoroughbred nowhere to be found. RIP

I just wonder how the bounty/wanted system works in this game. Visited Valentine for the first time and as I was trying to hitch my horse to a post I got wanted. For what, exactly? Another time I got wanted after a story mission involving a shootout. As I was leaving the area got a big old "WANTED" while getting chased by wolves. Nice R*.

I started a side mission, did that and as I was riding out a man needed saving, I wound up in Saint Dennis at the doctors office, If you stick around to see what happens next, it's pretty gruesome. Saint Dennis is amazing, I did not expect a city that size, the landscape change is awesome too.

Well gentlemen, this will be my last post for awhile, I'm going to be insanely busy again for at least the next month, if not beyond. Everything I have worked for all year has finally come to fruition, and I landed the biggest contract of my life and in the history of the company I work for. Christmas came early yesterday afternoon  Enjoy RDR2!

They just may want to bring you in for questioning.... you are innocent until proven guilty!

I've only ever been ''Wanted'' when I've truly deserved it. Could it be to do with your ''Honor'' level? Mine is reasonably honorable (but I have had the odd indiscretion, it's way too much fun not to :D)

Im reasonably honorable too. Maybe if you are deep in the red, you are automatically wanted when you are recognised, wherever yo go?

I haven't got the game, I'm waiting for Christmas, but I have been watching playthroughs online. I've grown to really like Arthur Morgan as a character.

Got an all black horse! :) Caught it in the wild, in the south of New Austin.

His stats are not as good as an Arabian but it looks great and is bigger.

This is a photo from my screen, so the quality is not the best:

Something that I found a bit surprising with this game is how well my Buttkicker works. I was out hunting and bagged a perfect Pronghorn, so I whistled for Horsepoop (I'm not very imaginative :dopey:) and as I sit in my race rig I decided to turn on the Buttkicker to see how well it worked and wow, what an immersion adder . You know that feel of the ground rumbling when at the horse races... it was there as Horsepoop approached. I also found it very helpful when riding, and not just for the added immersion, I also found it far easier to get the rhythm of the X button presses helping with both speed and stamina.

I'm really enjoying this game 👍

I was enjoying the game until this 'task'

Let's just say that Mars....err...Milton ain't no Shorty Gorham.

Somehow I've been on Chapter 2 for almost a week now haha. I've had too much fun getting sidetracked and hunting.

With a stagecoach trip, or a train ride, will your horse be at your destination? I unlocked fast travel from camp and I know you're accompanied by your horse, but not sure of the others.

Hard to say really. When I visited Valentine, I was still "neutral" I guess. The second time around I was leaning towards honorable. I mean if I did something bad right in front of everyone I'd understand but like I said I was merely trying to hitch my horse.

I got a $15 bounty this morning for disturbing the peace in St. Denis, just for antagonizing some guy. I didn’t hit him, or even make a threatening gesture, I just hit the antagonize button twice, and he ran to the police. Thats a little extreme lol. I know we live in the anti-bullying age, and PC etc, but come on now.

Opening Statement: I was anticipating a "final heist" for what felt like the fifth time, so I checked the my story progress and it said 46%. This game, like everybody is saying, is massive.

I'm pretty pleased with the loading times as well due to how large the game is. Runs faster than GTA V as far as I can tell.

As @wvmgmidget stated, you can't just sit down and play this for an hour. It requires a lengthy sitdown to accomplish only the smallest of tasks, in comparison to how much there is available to do.

The game has no mercy for accidentally bumping into an angry citizen and suddenly being shot at. Oh, and don't trample the doggos either. As @prousonhairy antagonized a guy two too many in Saint Denis, I think I did something similar. I'm not exactly sure what I did wrong, besides the fact that I was riding my horse through an alley-like way in some tight quarters with people nearby. It was almost like a sidewalk. Anyways, I too disturbed the peace and had a bounty on my head.

Although many are saying this game is relentless, it's also incredibly generous at times and keeps the game fresh for me. Sometimes, the game has you traveling halfway across the map, other times it fast travels you back to camp after a mission. It's crazy, its unpredictable, and it keeps it fresh for me. At first I didn't like the random cutscene moments that returned you right back to being in control a few seconds later. But then I got used to it, and now I love it. It's a good mental rest.

Also, this game is incredibly detailed. So much to do, so much to see, nothing wrong with taking the backstreets. You might discover something cool, or get attacked by a gang and lose your favorite horse. Or both. You never know.

The cougar/panthers are totally unforgivable.
I could not track them in eagle eye and outta nowhere I was dead.
Another time I was on horseback when I came across a cougar in the north-east section of the map. My horse gets spooked and I see the red blip on the map, then the red blip is almost on top of me. My horse bucks me off, onto the train tracks as a train is coming (quite a bit away but nonetheless). The cougar is still focused on me waiting to pounce. Luckily I had the Springfield equipped, went into deadeye and got a clean headshot, at this point the cougar was mid air and the shot was point blank. At least I got that perfect pelt though. Just the Legendary one next.
Definitely the most difficult animal to hunt, with bears you get half a chance.

Yesterday I punched a guy to death in front of the Sheriff's office and nothing happened. ^^

The flow of the story has been really...odd. I think they did that on purpose, but I'm used to games where there seems like a substantial amount of planning and pre-missions that go into major events that take place in the game. But in this one, it's just like "hey I've got an idea, let's do it" and everybody else is like "ok, that's a great idea, let's do it right now". Not that that's a bad thing, but it's definitely different. And it's gotten more and more extreme the further I've gotten into the game. The first three chapters did it to a certain extent, but you hit chapter 4 and before you know it, at the drop of a hat, they just start shooting s**t up. There weren't a lot of shoot 'em missions at the beginning but there is absolutely no shortage of them starting at chapter 4.

And at the failed robbery, when John and Abigail were taken, I thought for sure that they gave themselves up and that was the end of John being in the gang, never to be seen again. But I was totally wrong.

Got paid $350 for it. So along with the really good revolvers that you can get, you also make a decent sum of money. Far more than any other side mission or non-main mission robbery. And since I technically get half of all book sales, I'm wondering if I'm going to get paid again.

Im reasonably honorable too. Maybe if you are deep in the red, you are automatically wanted when you are recognised, wherever yo go?

Not really. Deep in the red means more that characters are suspicious of you starting off. And that if you bother them too much they'll be fast to pull their weapon on you. Also you'll go into stores and the store clerks will almost expect you to rob them. They might say something like "I don't want any trouble" or "Just buy what you need and leave"

I ran into a post office to pay a bounty. As I almost knocked the doors off it’s hinges, a older man standing inside the post office turned around and yelled “Great Scott!”. Back to the future-DLC confirmed. Expect flying Deloreans (GTA-Deluxos).;)

Chapter V was...unexpected. Great, but unexpected. I’ve only done 3-4 missions of Chapter VI, but it’s ok so far.

If anyone is looking for an easy way to increase their honour, just go fishing and release them all back. Every time you throw a fish back your honour increases. Randomly greeting strangers in town can as well, but it is far less efficient. Particularly considering how fast you can catch a lot of fish.

I learnt after getting the one horse I paid money for shot, to not buy any others in story mode.

Milton's horse in the Nathan Kirk incident is too damn slow....still working on that one, after I finally caught the bull...

So I encountered the funniest easteregg yesterday. A KKK clanmeeting in a forest clearing, but I wont spoil how it ended.

Hopefully I will encounter some more of these. Allthough some are quite hard to reach.

Yeah, once you get good at taming there really is no need. My goto horse is a wild mustang I found in Nebraska and tamed. It's not the fastest, but it seems to be very reliable and it can jump off some pretty sizeable cliffs with me on and not get rattled at all. I found a race horse as well, which does haul, but it can be panicky and doesn't do as well off the trails.

When I go on hunting trips, I often find a wild horse to tame to bring along to increase my payload capacity before returning to civilisation to sell my wares.

I found it too! I broke up the meeting by throwing a stick of dynamite in the middle of them :D

Has anyone come across the girl in the outhouse yet?

Nope I did find the kidknapped "boy" and the serial killer before. I really wonder how many more of these are still hidden. I have seen that even

nosferatu

is hidden in the game somewhere.

Do any on you get attached to your horse... Mine may not be the fastest or the best looking but we've been through so much together I really don't want another. Yesterday Sweetheart was shot during a bridge crossing holdup, I thought it was over but luckily I was able to revive! Not that all has been roses, I once accidently punched her (hit wrong key) which she followed with a good swift kick sending me flying. But, all was forgiven and we rode off to explore. She's my partner in crime and we have each others back
