Though I like the game, but an add on for a zombie nightmare is off the charts. Maybe just for me, but for you... don't know why you like guts and throwing up or resisting, from witnessing blood and gore.

R* will also release all the DLC that came out till now on a disc.
For 29€
I will get that. Seems like a good deal. And i love physical copies

I actually feel bad for all the zombies i'm going to kill in the upcoming DLC. Fallout and this should take up a good chunk of time until GT5.
Between this and Black Ops I'll probably end up suffering from Zombie overload

I could use some peoples to play the co-op missions with, still havn't touched them, anyone?

Hit me up, I will do them. I havent touched any of the DLC ones. I only have the free DLC thats been out for a little while.

Same here, but no fear:

Yep! http://bit.ly/9Wivno @UrbanMythicaJP: is it true that #UndeadNightmare & the other DLC are going to be released on a stand-alone disc?

Sounds like Undead Nightmare is the last DLC for Red Dead Redemption. And they'll be doing what they did for GTAIV and releasing a stand-alone disc. The question I have is: will it require the original game disc or not? Episodes of Liberty City didn't.

It's in the eu store right now but not the Na ps store. If I download it from my eu account will I be able to play it on my Na account?

Rockstar's site mentions that the stand-alone disc (entitled "Undead Nightmare") will be available November 23rd in the US and November 26th in Europe.

I will be purchasing this tonight. Is there any co-op in single player mode?

Question is the DLC bundle stand-alone? Or do I need a disc. My brother said there was a Stand Alone DLC on PSN, but I don't see it.

I can't believe you can't transfer game saves to another PS3. This is complete ********. I got the game for spring break but it looks like I'm gonna have to swap PS3s with my uncle. I just started those blackwater missions and wanted to finish the game once and for all before I have to go back to school.

I probably won't buy another playstation ever again if this crap continues.

So did anyone actually pick up Undead Nightmare? Is it worth picking up? 💡
I bought it as dlc. But I haven't played it since I wanted to finish RDR main story first. And I haven't done that since my attention was diverted to other games...

I bought it today and I have played for about 2 hours. It's great fun, I'm not much into zombies but combined with John Marston, the old west, and Rockstar's sense of humour it's a winner, big time.
I don't think I will be getting tired of this anytime soon.
Just check out some reviews and you will see 10/10 all over the place.

If you are still not sold, there is a horse that sets zombies on fire when you ride into them, and another that pops their heads!

At £7.99, it is worth every last penny. Good luck:tup:

Picked up "Undead" over the weekend, and got a few hours in playing. I've a lot of questions as to how this fits in with the main RDR storyline. Did this really happen or is it all a dream? Oh well I guess I'll find out soon enough.

Having finished the RDR story, this expansion really changes things up from the limited ammo, to having to change how you deal with other people you come across... I've found it best to just keep riding by when someone is in trouble. It's way too easy to get overwhelmed with a group of zombies. Although i've pulled a healthly supply of ammo/fire bottles off the dead bodies.

I'm still in the beginning of the zombie story and it seems to be rather interesting so far... nothing like being creeped out by Seth.

I've recently started playing Red Dead again with my old hobby of the west, being a PvP assassin. Not your typical RDR experience I love soaking up the atmosphere and anti-griefing. The rules/instructions are as follows:
- Join a public Hardcore free roam server, the more players the better.
- Avoid detection, observe the kill feed and look for repeat offenders killing random players or posses running riot and just bullying lone players.
- Using only 2 weapons in true hardcore fashion, 1 primary and 1 side-arm, take our your target or posse leader and then attempt to slip the net whilst they immediately come after you. Other items such as TNT allowed.

I personally go with the rolling block rifle as it is a true one shot rifle and a high power pistol to make up for the lack of using other guns. It's pretty difficult to remain truly undetected and pull off the kill first attempt, I tend to crouch walk my way through the wilderness on the approach and look for some cover on high ground to observe them. Most trolls tend to stick around certain areas, MacFarlanes Ranch and Armadillo are popular battle spots the former of which I just finished sweeping up against a posse of mic using younger gentlemen who began to get very angry as I started to pick them off randomly every 2-3 minutes whilst managing to slip every and come back at another angle (it was actually a lone player griefing a posse, when I began to intervene they all posse'd up against me so I had to make a run for the border but fortunately a random player passed by me and went straight for them with dynamite and bombed the entire posse of 4!). I managed 5-6 kills without reply which is nothing incredible, but without being detected until the last moments I was very pleased as I slipped through the trees constantly managing to get away when they came searching without sprinting/horse as it reveals you on the map. It was only when I heard a shout on the mic on my final kill of THERE HE IS! That I decided to flee for Mexico but an unnamed soldier saved me from a chase.

Sometimes I'll spent an age approaching my target, crouch walking vast distances (using travel to the nearest location without hitting their exact) but it's totally worth it to one-shot them and then disappear like a ghost.

That is a lot of fun. Me and Minty double-teamed people in the same fashion before he shipped out. We'd find a guy being an ass, split up and sneak up on him in opposite directions. I'd use the Carcano rifle to provide some semblance of cover/distraction, and he'd sneak up with the auto pistol and take them out if I couldn't.

It's oh so much sweeter when you can hear them getting angry, when I originally got Red Dead I was hoping for some real wild west action but the shoot on sight attitude just kills that. This has been my revenge ever since, turning a bad situation in to a great one . I'm moving in for another strike now.

Hi,I just did all U.S hideouts within 24 hours game time and I didn't get the outfit from doing this,Also it is the last thing to do for completion for me with 98.9 on the stats.
Any help?

Unless you have previously tried doing this when playing as John, you should have unlocked it, as the outfit is only accessible when playing as Jack Marston. Trying to do this as John may glitch the completion and stop you from being able to obtain it, so I've read on RedDeadWiki.

The only Hideouts that you need to do are the following five:

Gaptooth Breach, Tumbleweed, Fort Mercer, Twin Rocks and Pikes Basin. Solomon's Folly isn't required as that's a PS3 exclusive. The only other tips I can give you is to not go to safe houses or camp as that pushes time forward by 6 hours. Also, although it sounds obvious, try not to die, as this too, returns you to your last safe house.

Had you previously completed the Hideouts, just in general? If so, that's good because it means they're much quicker to complete, as all you have to do is kill the enemies and move on.

Good luck.

@yukon.
I've done it now with jack.
My own fault it didn't show the cutscene that says fort mercer complete wheras it did for the others so I just did it all again and unlocked the outfit.
At 99.6% complete,just a few more bounties,minigames to do.

Pardon me for reviving this thread, but I have a few questions after I saw this game on sale today.

I'm looking for something that will keep me engrossed for a while, with plenty of stuff to do. As much as I enjoyed Tomb Raider and BioShock Infinite, they're really quite linear and don't offer much in the way of replay value. Is Red Dead Redemption the kind of game that you can keep coming back to? For the record, I'm not interested in playing online, so how much content is there in the single-player campaign?

Secondly, I've heard a few complaints that the world of the game can be quite boring, and that althought it's large, there are some sections that are not sparsely-populated. Are these complaints justified? And how big is the world in comparison to, say Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas?

Definitely. For around $15 there's heaps of content. Some of it can be a bit dreary sometimes, story and gameplay is still great and completely absorbing. There's landscape is definitely pretty sparse but the missions don't tend to stray too far from each other and there's a teleport option. If its cheap and your even slightly interested go for it, and no one could seriously say there's a lack of singleplayer content.

Just put it in the console the other day (After watching Django) and there were still people playing online also.
