Release Date

I did a very brief search.
Is there any word on the release date of NFS Shift 2.
I know it's in the first quarter of this year, but is there even an exact month yet?

UK on 25th March, the rest of Europe on 24th March and in the US on 29th March.

All you Brits (I'm one too, just living in the US!) post EVERYTHING about the game the day you get it, please!

I'm going to pre-order Shift 2, but if I find out in time that things are still nerfed with the wheels, or the physics sucks, or online is now as bad as GT5, I can cancel my pre-order and wait to see if things get patched.

I've got it PreO'd for the PS3, since that's my primary gaming device. I liked the first one well enough to grab this one.

I'm hopeful it's more sim-like, but Shift was fun regardless of it's faults. It won't be GT5, but that's probably a good thing.

If my fanatec hasn't arrived I will get the PS version.
I will post honest feedback for people still undecided.

Be careful with the PS3 version, i had Shift 1 on both consoles and the PS3 got a terrible port, graphically it was awful compared to the 360 version....could be the same again.

That is true. Sometimes, the cars would glitch and the wheels would look all weird. Also for some cars, like the Evo 9, the wheels glitched through the fenders, haha.

Well....I might change if I could, but I prefer Macs to PCs for various reasons.

My PS3 is my gaming rig (sad as that is), so.....

Sorry... I mentioned GT5, thought that would make it plain. Yes, the PS3.

And personally, graphics, I could care LESS about. A pretty game that is messed up (GT5, anyone?) is still a messed up game. An immersive, fun, logical, true to the sport game with less than stellar graphics is still a GREAT game, IMO...

All I ever wanted was GT5 physics in Shift 1. I don't need GT5's graphics. Be nice if I got them, but I'll be playing the better GAME, not the prettier game!

With the exception of frame rate, I think Shift looks better than GT5...
