do you guys use it to help you in getting faster times, better lines on a track. what do you think about it and should it be in GT4

I use it constantly to evaluate my replay against other racers (note sharkport) and to see where I'm loosing time or gaining time.

I've tried playing around with it a few times (maybe about five times) but never actually used it properly.

When i race i don't set the car up for the track or anything, i just race.

i use it to a) c which one of my saves has the better drift b) c where the hell im losing time when im on the weekly race seriees

I use the overhead cam to check for off track mistakes or wall hits and brushes before I submit the run for OLR. If its hard to tell from the overhead cam then I use the graph. If you touch a wall, it will show up. Very usefull tool. Slow mo comes in handy also.

While I don't use the graph much in GT3, I think it will be very useful in GT4 if implemented correctly. With online play, it will be nice to see a graph telling you which corners cost you or won you the race.

I use it only if it's an online competition. Otherwise I improve my times visually, I just remember the trouble sections and my avg time through those sections so

Same here..:D

I use it extensively. If you have saves of really fast laps, you can load them in "Free Run" and chase the ghosts to improve your times.
It is also useful in getting your "T" times.
Another little glitch I noted. Run your car in free run and save your fast lap.
Then go to the" Replay" function in the opening sequence and select replay theatre, and watch your replay.
Carefully note your time in the replay vs the time in the "save box".
Y'all come back and tell me if you see the same thing I did.
Holding off on divulging till I see if it's only me...

It's 'cos the replay time is taken when the car reaches the start/finish line, and the time saved in the file is taken when the car crosses the start/finish line. You'll find it varies not only track-to-track, but also dependent on what speed you're doing.

Absolutely!!!
:D I've used it in the GTP Weekly Series to compare the "Fast Guy's" lines to mine & try to learn from them. Can't seem to get it to load "TT" runs however. Would dearly love to compare the record runs from Mr P & others...UB57
:D

I've never used it before...if I had an Xport I might move it though.
