Great, went to play rfactor today and I have lost the bloody disc.

I sent a begging email to rfactor, hoping that since the game is now so old to them that they may be able to send me a download code. Unlikely but the worst they can say is no.


EDIT: And no is exactly what they said, in my email I went for the informal hey guys, I really liked you game but I unfortunately lost the disc, could you help me out, approach.

But instead of what I was hoping got a Formal, we don't have a warrenty against loss response

If you want, i can send you my download code, since i don't have time to play rfactor any more :-(

Look for the respective .hdv file in your mod folder

Inside look for "WheelDrive" and you need to edit this line:

WheelDrive=FOUR

******

The values for that instance are REAR, FOUR or FRONT 👍

ENB is a mod you can download that allows you to add Bloom / HDR / Motion Blur etc to ISI / Simbin titles and many other games: http://enbdev.com/index_en.html

I've been running with it ever since I've installed rFactor pretty much.

Hey also make sure to checkout maps made by Com8. All of those maps look such high quality along with the right ENB settings (and still looks great without!). I've been working on getting all his maps download for my rFactor install 👍

Just finished my first full lap of the Florio.

43 mins 46s in a 2.0l 911 from WSC1970. I'm shattered now, I run heavish steering in older cars to simulate the abscence of power steering. My forearms are killing me.

The Caterham mod is fun. As is cart factor. But you probably already have those. The new Targa Florio track looks cool but I haven't tried that one yet.

Okay, I'll check those out. I also have another question. When I'm racing, I'll just be doing my own thing, driving along, then out of nowhere I'll get kicked from the race and back to the menu screen. It's getting me pretty mad. Is it an issue with my firewall?

Florio is incredible, had a blast earlier in the Porsche 935 and Lancia Beta from the DRM mod. Insane cars, insane track, pure bliss.

Yes, but the tools in Photoshop make the things easy, you can also use Gimp, as above, or, personally i found better than the mainstream tool Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, this is like paint but with the power of Photoshop, very intuitive and powerfull. 👍
