Question about the mods. Are these standalone mods? As in: Are the mods used when playing online or can you choose which mod to play when firing up the game?

I've been looking for a long time for a decent endurance series sim racer, and the endurance series mod for rFactor looks impressive.

Yes you can switch between mods on the game's main menu. Definitely Enduracers is the mod for you, awesome awesome work on that mod!
Here's another mod definitely worth downloading:

This is a great endurance mod. I just downloaded it yesterday.

I'd wish the modders would upload their mods to a torrent website as well. With these websites they're hosting their mods on, it'll take ages for me to download it :indiff:

Endurance Series mod successfully installed! 👍

Any other mods you guys can recommend to increase the experience to a higher level? Team radio add-ons, TV add-ons, etc.

I've yet to try out the entire game as a matter of fact as I've been playing either Skyrim or doing 5v5 LoL matches with my friends, and of course Christmas break! But I cannot wait to try my good ole' Logitech DFP with the game. I gave it a try with Dirt3, but was deeply disappointed at the overall experience of the game. Might give it another try, as the game itself has a lot of awesome cars and modes but it might be just way too arcade-ish for my tastes.

If your PC is fast enough you should try out ENBSeries for a nice HDR effect (kind of a pain in the rear to get the settings right, but worth it). I might upload my settings on NoGrip, but I need the permission from the original maker of the settings I modified.

Definitely go for this mod, I just updated to V1.3 and man is it a great mod! Beautiful textures, great skins and exellent physics work by those guys! A close 2nd to Enduracers in the GT class only because of Enduracers having a huge selection of cars and classes.

Can't view that file as it requires me to be registered on that website.

One last thing; I noticed tracks related to the LMES/ALMS seasons aren't included. Do you know whether there is also a corresponding track pack? If not, I'm going check a list of tracks and remove/disable the tracks not on the ALMS/LMES lists.

Just got rFactor yesterday, I've been eyeing it up ever since I got tired of GTR2. In the midst of downloading the EnduRacers Mod, and gonna hook up my DS3 to the PC. Then I'm going to give it a try and get a feel for the game, and see if my connection holds up online. Will be looking to race with some of you guys if all is good 👍

I'm going to try and run an ALMS season, and then an LMES season. I'm going to try and find all the tracks for each ALMS and LMES calendar. Then I just need to figure out how to make rFactor choose only those tracks and correspondingly the ALMS and LMES cars for each season without making a random calendar with every track and car installed 👍

Anybody have a link to where I download it .Got a decent Price on Uncharted 3 so I have money left just need to finish my Finals the coming Fridays :D

Oh and Big Chance Us Egyptians will be getting An Internet upgrade soon So I maybe able to have a internet speed of 2 mbp/s is it enough for Online :nervous:

Looking for tracks which were a part of the official LMES and ALMS calendars. Tracks like the Nürburgring, Mosport, Road Atlanta, Sebring, etc.

I've been searching the Nürburgring track, but most of all the decent ones seem to be focussing on the Nordschleife track, and not the GP circuit.

Most likely because the GP Curcuit is already included.
If you want Sebring, you should definitely use the Virtua_LM version.

Gotcha! I'll upload a nice pack with what I have!

Okay, Siggs from NoGrip Racing gave me the permission to upload the modified ENBSeries settings, waiting for approval now and will post a link when they are available.

EDIT: http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=34626

Having some problems with your file. I moved the .dll and .ini files to my rFactor folder as you described in the readme file. In the menus the plug-in seems to work fine as I'm having a lot of bloom but when I'm on the track the plug-in doesn't seem to work and the graphics seem to flicker every second or so.

Also, I'm having some problems with some tracks. I downloaded the Virtua-LM Sebring version you recommended, but each time my car is being sent out of the garage it seems to be leaving the garage on full throttle and it spins into the fence right next to the garage. Same with Lime Rock park; there the car won't even start. :ouch:

Unless of course each track has its own starting condition when running test sessions...

Read the Readme. ;) When you get flickering, press CTRL+F to activate the FPS counter, this should solve the issue. This problem happens only on some tracks, but V_LM Sebring is one of them.

And yeah, the cars have some issues while testing for some reason, the track is still by FAR the best Sebring you can get.

Completed my first laps with the endurance mod and all the stuff I installed yesterday.

Took my Logitech DFP, had to set the FFB negatively because on the positive side it was somehow giving me reversed FFB. The ENB plug-in is working nicely now, and with everything maxed out I'm anywhere between 40-90FPS at the Vitua_LM Sebring track.

Took the Flying Lizard Porsche to Laguna Seca for some laps, track looked awesome but the car was sure a handful!

Then I took the Highcroft Patron P2 car to Lime Rock for some laps with the AI and I had some slow frames in the Live racing menu when I was in the garage, but when I was out on the track myself I never had any slow-down in frames, and everything ran perfect.

👍
