Bad news for you waiting for the World Endurance 2.0 mod.
I pm'd over on WCP the mod creator, who told me when i asked if it would be uploaded soon:
No, I'm in the army now (A soldier in poor words), and I'm not able to do anything..
I asked him if anyone else could, and he replied:
No, as I'm the only one who has the mod packed and the other guy is just too busy with his private life to do it.

Well damn, I was looking forward to that mod. First bummer of the week for me.
Anyhow, finally got around to hooking up the wheel for rFactor and well, its been a mix of frustraition and success. Most of the frustraition has been with the enduracers mod and again, that damn annoying tendency to shoot cars off the damn track when downshifting. The one exception was with the Acura ARX at Sebring (the one place I was expecting to crash the most
).
Also finally decided to install that "Ferrari DLC" mod I found and I was intrigued by what I found:
Ferrari FXX
Ferrari 599 GTB
Ferrari 599 GTO (which is actually the 599XX)
Ferrari Superamerica
Ferrari F430SC (I'm guessing the Scuderia)
Ferrari F50GT
Ferrari California
Ferrari 458 Italia GT2
Only drove the Fxx so far, but pretty awesome.

I get my Fanatec GT3RS V.2 today. Im excited to drive in rFactor with a wheel instead of using the Dual shock 3 since my 911 Carrera broke. Any FFB setting advice?

Did some more driving with the wheel today. Drove around in the other Ferraris and failed abit at first but it wasn't until I drove the 599XX that I learned to sort've, for lack of better term, dance with the pedals. After that, every car I drove afterwards I instantly grasped. It also helps that my laptop has just gotten upgraded to a 1 terabyte drive so the framerate drops are no longer near the 20 FPS I had before.

Finally found a 2012 FIA GT1 World Championship mod. The biggest draw to it by far is finally being able to drive a car that until now I thought I would have to get PCARS or that other sim in order to do so: the 2012 BMW Z4 GT3.
Until now, the only one I could drive was the one from the 2010 FIA GT3 mod (which is essentially another one of Sandrox's obvious Console rips, this time from Shift 2). Having driven it now, that was awesome. The engine note, the gearwhine, the crisp shifting, my day was made. I cannot wait to have fraps up and going again so I can show it to you guys.
With the wheel, I have gained so much time and confidence. I'm no longer just dabbing the throttle and barely steering, I'm actually attacking the courses full on.

So today was my first day with rFactor and my new gt3rs v2. After downloading the realfeel plugin and finally figuring out how to get the wheel calibrated correctly, I could play. This is quite possibly the greatest thing I ever played. The AE86 N2 cup is crazy fun. I had to do some research to set them up correctly. I drove the 2013 craftsman truck and nationwide cars, 67' F1 at 67 Spa, 79 F1, 85 F1. I like the way each car is so much different than the last. Coming from GT5 to rFactor is almost overwhelming. Especially when I played both today.

Do you have a link to any set-ups?
I have that mod for Race 07, it's fun but the cars are so damn hard to control at corner entry and corner exit. I don't think that there would be many differences between the rFactor and Race07 mods.

So Made some skins for the FIA GT1 2012 mod.
The first one worked without any problems:
The second one however didn't, and it repeatidly looks like this when I first boot up the game:
And it only shows up when I go to the vehicle menu:
How do I fix that? Its frustraiting because I saved it with the same settings. To make it worse, it goes back to red when trying to drive it.

I'm not sure what the issue could be. I've had other issues with templates but it was mostly user error or not running the game on the right graphics settings.
I went to download that mod a while ago and the page wasn't loading for me. Seems the entire site it's hosted on is down.

I do all my setups myself over a few hours of practice. I can give you a few later. You might not like the "feel" though.

Physics, at least for the Cup Series, felt way off to me. I realize the COT wasn't a comfortable car for the pros to drive, but when I'm driving it at Daytona, the car shouldn't be difficult to turn. I'd complain about the AI, but I realize it's meant to be a league mod, so it's a moot point.

I dont have trouble turning at daytona or any track ive driven on come to think of it. In fact the steering reacts like I always wanted a nascar to in a sim I play. I agree about the a.i though. Still better than GT5 though lol. The 1988 aero cars mod is cool if you like winston cup cars.
