Rinoseat - What Happened??

Good morning everyone!!

First of all, sorry for my bad english.

I'm a newcomers on this forum, since i've read this thread.

I have ordered à Rinoseat GTR yesterday, i want to share my story (from order to delivery) with the community, maybe it would help some others In the future.

The order was very simple, and Rino sent me quick answers.
Payment was à little difficult (im not used to pay with specialized website) but Renato helped me all the way throught and fees are less expensive than with à Western.

Waiting for the delivery, the shipphing date is fixed to friday 17th.

This product seems to be the best for smalls houses like mine (35 m², sorry for the metric system), i have to transport my cockpit (an Ikea small square table till now XD) each time i wanna play.

I Will tell you more about my order when i would get more informations.

problem with rinoseat isn't quality or ordering afaik. it's with delivery. hopefully you will get yours before xmas

It could be that it'll arrive in France within a few days - but customs might lose it. Or destroy it. Or La Poste might lose it. Or destroy it. You can never know until it's right at your doorstep and the delivery guy is gone.

And if they're not, customs is on strike. Or the pilots. Or the RATP drivers are blocking the street. Gotta love this country.

Yet, back on topic: did they really solve the delivery issue once and for all? Would be great since it seemed to be a really good alternative to all the "mainstream" rigs.

Today is à great day, i just received my rinoseat!
Sending from croatia was done the 24th, Renato gave me answers all along the way.

I just can't wait to mount it!!
 
I received mine few day's ago, mount everything yesterday, looove it so far.

i received mine 2, the driving position is awesome. now im in the process of working out how close i should be to my 40", no jokes ive had moments where ive felt in the car on the tv right behind the wheel....its a head rush!!!!!

I just wanted to relate my experiences with Rinoseat.

Despite what I read in this thread and forums I decided to take the plunge and get a Rinoseat GTR. I ordered mine in late January and received it (in Australia) in the first week of March.

The instructions (especially for the seat) were detailed and I had no trouble putting the rig together. After using it for the first time I can't imagine playing racing games without it! The seat is very supportive and I was able to get a comfortable position dialled in using the adjustments on the rig.

All in all I was pleased with the product and process and recommend anyone who wants to take their driving game more seriously consider a Rinoseat.

It has so many option of adjustement. I love to have my wheel pretty high, it took me some time to find the perfect position.

i dont have possibility to be close to the screen, but I am working on that.

Is that your first rig? If it is it will be your last, you hit the top from your first try :)

I ordered a Rinoseat GTR and I would like to tell you my story.

13/02/2012 : i paid with Western Union. No problem.
16/02/2012 : my Rinoseat GTR should be sent but I chose a black&red seat and there was no black&red seat in stock (=> 7 days delay)
23/02/2012 : my Rinoseat GTR was sent.
06/03/2012 : i got my tracking number.

But my tracking number is still not activated. So I sent a mail to Mr. Renato and the 29 march, he said me that my tracking number was ok and he would see what is going wrong.

The arrival date was around 30/03/2012, so now it makes 5 weeks of late.
Wait and see. I will give you more news when I would get informations.

17/04/2012 : Mr. Renato confirmed that Croatian Custom stopped the shipment because Croatia will join the European Union next year so custom rules have been changed.
So Mr. Renato should solve issues.

11/05/2012 : My tracking number was activated ! :-)

So now, I wait my Rinoseat GTR.
Mr. Renato sent me an e-mail each time he had news.
I think all issues are solved now and that I was not lucky.

I would post when I will get my rig.

My tracking number shows that my Rinoseat GTR is in France !
So I think I will receive it tomorrow or Monday !

Edit : I received my Rinoseat GTR Monday !!!
All look very good quality. I will build it Sunday.

Is anybody up here? I've originally ordered the rinoseat with its inverted padals, but they didn't sent the inverted padals for over a year although I got the main unit. So, I requested the partial refund for it, but they are not responding my refund request for over a month. Are they still in the business?

I ordered a Rinoseat GTR, and am very excited ...
12/7/2012 : i paid with Moneybookers. No problem.
20/7/2012 : my Rinoseat GTR should be sent as promised as in stock and batch ready. I was told allow 10-12 days for shipping to Australia
27/7/2012 : email sent to rinoseats enquiring on order status etc
30/07/2012 : email chased again as no response.
15/8/2012 : email chase again. No update.
21/8/2012 : thought I'd raise a post and join the club.

I have every confidence that my order will be fulfilled, but simply need some communication around the order and delivery status.

I do hope Renato will update me shortly , to put my mind at rest, as his communication and engagement and responsiveness in my enquiry and order placement was excellent, even responding to me at gone 2am in the morning (Croatia time) to an enquiry, whilst he was testing a button box on his personal rig :)

I look forward to hearing from Renato and Rinoseats and will update this forum accordingly.
