looking back i find myself lucky to hv received the rinoseat, even after 3 months wait .. i would recommend you contact fanatec directly now .. renato shouldn't be in business with such service !

I work with a couple of Croatian guys and they say Croatia is one of the most corrupt backward countries in Europe. I don't know if they're exaggerating though. Sounds like they aren't. I remember Anthony Bordain went to Croatia and he was met with corrupt people wanting to bribe his film crew to film in their country. Crazy

Sorry to hear of your problems with Renato, but it really can't compare to my woes. This goes back to August of 2008. I ordered and paid for 10 seats - for a bunch of my friends and myself. Never got anything except excuses. I have written to Thomas 3 times in the last month but have as yet got no response. I've kept quiet this long but no more. How time flies.

i can tell you my experience, basically i told renato from the beginning i had issues and concerns paying him for the product first then him sending it because of all the stories, so i said i can pay him half then pay the rest when it arrives.

i told him what i wanted and he said ok, he didnt ask me for money. he said it would be a few weeks before i get it, i waited over a month then got a tracking number then a few more weeks and another tracking number i think and it arrived. then he sent me the bill which i paid immediately....

so the guy sent me the goods without taking a penny, not many would do such a thing.

i know theres a lot of negative stuff about him but this is what happened with me so its not all bad

REFUND REFUND REFUND!!! 8 months is enough. I've heard every excuse in the book from snowstorms to returned shipments. Give me my money back!!! If the seat finally shows up, I'll pay you, but you're not hanging onto my money any longer. If anybody else reads this, keep your money until I report everything's good. Don't believe any other posting, not all is as it seems...

Check this, I get the EXACT same carbon copy email response (attached below) because of my prior posting here, pretending to be an individualized response. There's even an UNRELATED tracking link provided! This means that ALL of this is a scam because obviously they are sending this email to everyone! Everything is ********, the tracking website is fake, the product is fake, the postings here from satisfied customers are fake, all of it with the intent of delaying you long enough that PayPal is unable to return the money, and to keep the ruse alive long enough to keep drawing in more victims. There is no Rinoseat manufacturer, there is no Rinoseat other than probably a few models that were created as prototypes, and Renato's company certainly hasn't been bought out by a reputable company, and Renato (if that's his real name) is a con-artist. Well done Renato, you got my $500. I know you've already probably pissed it away because you're pathetic and that's what pathetic humans do. Hope it was worth it.

Seriously people, get your money back from PayPal if you can. This is a very elaborate scam. I never understood how these ass-backward countries couldn't pull themselves out of abject poverty, but now I get it; they're overrun by criminals

Unfortunately, someone at the post office or the customs mixed boxes and put everything under the same two numbers.
After few months a few shipments were returned to us in pretty bad conditions.
We repacked and sent again.

We have no production here in Croatia but after these problems with numbers we will closely monitor this delivery.

Genius! Wow Renato, I have to hand it to you, the illusion is complete. I even bought into the notion that you were living in some remote country outside the jurisdiction of any reasonable justice system... and then it dawned on me, even Croatia is a facade. You're probably a first-world citizen somewhere within the reach of the FBI. What made me realize this is the timing with which you suddenly pulled your product off the net, which just happens to coincide with Obama's international bank full-disclosure rampage. You probably have some swiss bank account attached to your PayPal account, permanently tying you to this whole fraudulent scam.... And now that the international banks are playing fair with the US justice system, well, bye bye my friend; your time is coming.

Tomorrow when I speak to the FBI, I am going to start the process where the slow teeth of justice inexorably pull you into visibility, culpability, and inevitably incarceration. Hope it was worth it.

Maybe you should actually move to Croatia...

So when did you order your seat ?

I wanted to replace my super wobbly GameRacer Pro seat with the Rinoseat from the first time I saw it but was hesitant to get one due to all the problems people had getting it within a timely manner !

I ordered my CSL Seat from Fanatec a couple of weeks ago and from ordering to getting it delivered at my door took 6 days (Sweden).

It is a fantastic product with an innovative design once you put it together as it was ment.

The instructions are terrible but once you figure out how it is supposed to be put together it is an awesome rig.
I can race for hours without any fatigue at all.
It's super rigid and doesn't wobble at all.

Maybe you should contact Fanatec about it.
The designer of the Rinoseat now works for Fanatec.
