Ah, okay. I really want one of these seats, I have a wheelstand on order so I will wait to see how good that is. Surely the first orders will be delivered soon now, looking forward to seeing some GT planet guys posting pics and impressions.

just an update:

Renato sent me a new tracking number but it is still not activated. He says this is because a transport company was used to send it to the central post office. He says it will be activated soon.

I will advise if tracking number not activated by 3 January..........

still no activation of the tracking number- now Renato says it will be activated by 1pm Tuesday 4 January at the latest........and he has sacked the courrier company........and.......

well the promised time has passed and still no activation of the trackiing number or promised emailed document from shipping forwarder.
 
ouch the saga continues. seriously how many of these simracing companies are run is a joke - this is not just aimed at rinoseats, there are many others.

I have now received the shipping docket which says posted on 4 Jan 2011.
Web tracking is also working.
I ordered and paid on 22 October 2010 but clearly the product is only now finished and shipping.
As I have said previously I trust Renato would deliver the goods but the brocken promises in relation to delivery dates and silly excuses have been hard to take. That said I am looking forward to a good bit of kit and if you are prepared to wait (or if production is now up to date) it will be worth it.
 
on another note to all Croatian racers who have received theirs (or Renato) - does the buttkicker gamer 2 fit or even a buttkicker advance?

The buttkicker site says the clamp can fit any tubing between 1" and 1.375".
 
Hi everyone,

Been following this thread for a while now in pure anticipation. I sent an email to Renato last night with little hope of a quick reply but he has got back to me in less than 24hrs.

I basically just said I'm interested and how much would it be in total for shipping to the UK.

He got back to me with the price list and options available (I want the orange one!).

I'm not sure what this western union thing is but I'm presuming I can just pay by with my Santander (Abbey) account online?

He gave me an estimated shipping date of 2-3 weeks from date of payment so that's not too bad.

I may take the plunge at the end of the week and send my apprehensive pennies to Croatia.

Gonna hold back and see if anyone gets one on here though first.

Good luck to everyone waiting on this product and lets hope Renato's streamlined things a little.

Hope that cargo plane will land safely :) and customs officers dont have "sticky" fingers.

Guys, you must understand that post service in these countries is not so organised like you would expect from UK, German or US post.
As a matter of fact, even our countries are disorganized but thats another story :D

I can understand that it is hard to sit and wait but sometimes there are difficulties that are out of reach. I am not saying that this delay is just because of post service but I am sure they had their part in it.
 
Hi Guys,

been following this thread for a couple of weeks now as i too have been waiting for a long time for my Rinoseat to be delivered to Belgium.
I placed my order november 19th en paid for it november 20th., on november 22nd Renato sent an email he had received the money, which was a relief because Western Union is not a pleasant way to transfer money.
After 2weeks on december 5th i sent an email asking for the shipping time.
I received an email on december 7th that the seat was ready and would be sent the day after and that i would probably receive the seat the following week...
After reading everything here i presumed i would have to wait a little bit longer.
On december 27th however i sent another email stating that its taking a bit long by now and asked if there was a tracking number or something... but i still have'nt received a reply...
Good to hear CPA has finally received his valid tracking number.
Renato, if you read this, i hope to see mine too soon!
Eventually the waiting will be worth it, but with gt5 completed for 84% the delays are starting to suck...

I'm with you man! I stopped playing when I ordered my Fanatec GT2, should be with me next week and I'll be back on with a vengeance!
 
Any news? My GT3 RS is being shipped next week and I haven't even got somewhere to clamp it yet. I so hope these babies are getting shipped now!
 
Got an answer from Renato. They couldn't ship orders this week... He will be able to proceed next week and I hope (so Renato does), there won't be any other delay. But he depends on other providers who didn't work this week (maybe holidays or something).

Let's be patient guys, the waiting is almost done!

not arrived yet. Webtracking stopped as soon as it was marked "placed into bag".

Edit: Raceline has not been on forum since s/he cracked it on Christmas Eve.

Just got some news from Renato. He said my order will be shipped tomorrow or monday. I learned that he improved the g25/27 shifter support, this improvement will be inlcuded for everyone who did'nt receive the product yet. He said he would post some pics soon, and it looks more like the fanatec holder now.

I learned he's working on a prototype for reversed pedals support. He's looking for a provider who could product the same type of heel rest there is in the T500RS. It sounds really great.

Despite some delays, I have to say I have great communication with Renato. Always honnest, always answered my questions, and always some good informations.

I'm getting closer now!

The buttkicker on the other hand, purchased 10 January and arrived 13 January from USA via DHL for US$40 shipping!! Does DHL ship from Croatia?...yes http://www.dhl.hr/en.html. Estimated shipping time to Australia is 4 days, cost??? and tracking that works....

... DHL costs 600€ (from Croatia to Australia 15kg volumetric weight) ... just called twice (++385 1 6651111 DHL Office in Croatia)
