Raceline i can understand your frustration, but you are a bit harsh imo. I believe that when this product finally is available that it will be good, but true that the waiting can be frustrating esp if you paid upfront.

in fairness to rino they do offer a good price and i guess the tradeoff is small company and not the type of structure like big companies with better customer services and communications.

hopefully you will receive your product sooner rather than later, and would like to see your review/impressions then.

good luck m8, at least we have seen some painted parts, all we need to see is the seat and that they box em and ship the darn things.

Just for the record I, and presumably a good number of people posting on this thread think it looks ace and the price is right. So Renato listen up

1. Get those first units shipped including one to Inside Sim Racing
2. Sort your website out and get a payment method that doesn't seem like such a scam

Two things to sort out and I, like a number of people on here, will buy one. You're a small company so I know every sale is going to count to you so lets hope that's some motivation to sort this stuff out. If by Jan you've shipped to people who've already paid, got a payment method that people can trust and your product is as good as it looks I for one will buy one.

Now it's just a case of waiting to see if you can sort those things out.

Here's hoping you will because I for one would love to get behind you!

Every day I click the IPS Web Tracking Number Renato gave me for amusement. It always says "No information, please check your item identifier".

I thought by your comment on 14 December that Renato advised it was shipped as of that day, now you're saying he hasn't shipped it??? But only as of yesterday???? (let me guess, postage issues) How does Renato get away with these false misleading comments?

Where do the lies end???? This is perfect example of what I'm trying to say. Promise after promise, followed with lies after lies!!

As I said on my first post in this subject, how much longer will the people keep believing this deception!

Sorry but no I don't. Yes small business maybe, but that does not give excuses for ongoing false and misleading information. Enough is enough. Considering I never received return emails, and after seeing Renato replying to any negative comments on any forum page is what forced my hand to come on to this forum page and express my concern. I knew I would get a reply here if nowhere else, and I've proved this.

I now believe that Renato keeps posting little bits of information, with fake excuses as to why there are delays, so he can keep the interest going and trap more potiential buyers before he makes a runner with all of our money!

What possible excuses can he be telling other Croatians? There is another posting on this forum from a Croatian from the same City (Zagreb), who hasn't recieved one, or at least he hasn't posted that he has after commenting that he would show pics when he does. That was in October! Surely people living in Croatia can go to the factory and pick it up???

Let me guess the excuse or lie.......
"Sorry there is no pickups direct from the factory due to insurance purposes" or
"We no longer allow the public to pickup from the factory as in previous times, items have gone missing"

Both are from Croatia and still waiting for their the rinoseat. Why?
Because, the paid orders have priority.
In this moment, our production is low and slow.
We had a big problem with the first delivery (like i said) and we are trying to solve (send a replacement shipment e.g.CPA, what causes us further delays)

We sale the rinoseat from 2007 https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=104197 and you can not talk about any kind of fraud.

Ps. Yes I have sent emails asking questions as to it's whereabouts, but surprise, surprise. I got plenty of return emails immediately when asking questions about the product to purchase, but as soon as payment went through, emails seem to be non existent now.

Can you prove this? Please, send me on email.

This is exactly the same discussion some PC simracers had with Leo Bodnar. He has revolutionary product that many people wants. Also, he had big problems with delivery times and general communication with his customers. Now, after few years, people just got used to it. If someone shows up and starts moaning around whole community stands up for Leo.

You must understand that you will never see some brave, revolutionary products from established players. They have market share and their targets to worry about.
These people started doing this because of passion they share with us. Most of them dont do this for living. Yes, they are slow. But they deserve our support and patience. They are "one of us".

Rinoseats started selling their first model 2 years ago. You wont find anyone that paid and didnt get their rig. Also, you wont find that anyone who managed to broke Rinoseat1. Because it was high quality product. Wise engineering and commitment to details. Their is no reason to think that they are trying to cheat someone now.

Hey there!

I see some people talking trash about the new Rinoseat even if they haven't tried it yet. Well, I finally got mine. Indeed I had to wait for quite a while, but at the end my christmas was saved. I promised my brother he will get it for xmas so there was no compromise. I had to get it till 24th of December. Well, to overcome the waiting days because of mail delivery I decided to drive to Zagreb to pick it up personally. I drove 140km to Renatos workshop where he had to finish some minor details.

When I assembled the cockpit the first thing I tried was GT5 of course, later RBR. To put everything to its place took another hour, but the satisfaction when the cockpit is finished, priceless.

Well, someone said the seat is not a "real" seat, I have to disagree. Indeed it isn't licensed recaro or sparco but it is a really good, actually magnificent replica of recaro (below is the pic (in my friend's right hand is Rinoseat and in his left there is an original Recaro which is heavy as **** btw))






The seat looks fantastic. Driver's position is really awesome. You can play for 5 hours together and you won't feel any pain. In fact, the second day that I had Rinoseat I've actually fell asleep in it. I was driving Nordschleife and the time was around 2.30 in the morning and I said to myself: "I'll take just a quick break then I'll continue". Well it probably took a few minutes and I was asleep. The whole cockpit is really light so you can put it away in the corner when not playing racing games. In fact that was the main reason I bought Rinoseat instead of some other brand like Playseat, Obutto, etc. And I am soooo happy I bought this one. Keep up the good work Renato!

Renato has emailed me a photo of my boxed seat (last Monday), he has also used the photo to post on this forum ( as I said I can see my postcode in Australia).

He has still to email me the IPS webtracking details and says he is waiting for this from the post office.

My question is- what is the post system in Croatia? here in Oz the post office would give the number to you when you are posting the item and it is activated at posting with their first scan.

As I have said before I trust Renato but agree that the excuses, delays and misinformation are not doing his business any good. This worries me as I want his business to succeed and even help him out selling the seats in Oz when the product is ready and there is no problem with supply.

Renato, your chair has a good concept and I doubt that it is bad. I think that it is an amazing idea, best seat since the Obutto for the price. A couple of things though to help you sell better.

1) Improve your website...man that thing looks like a ghost town, I'm only 13 so my parents order my wheels ect. They won't feel confident buying from you because
a) The website is old, rundown and doesn't display the new product
b) It is e-mail only transaction(?)

2) Get your name out there, that means delivering to reviewers and customers. For the customers thing, the only cons I can see are that it took a long time to deliver and there was unncertainty.

If you fix the website things, I would gladly get a GTR and get your name out there.

The prototype 3 image shows (in my opinion) a more well finished unit, with this part welded. This gives to cockpit and image more in line with its price (I don´t see this cockpit cheap, considering the amount of material needed to build, as well as infrastructure and logistics).

The 3-bar unit looks more homemade.

I do not know where it is "stuck", our post office is slow in some things but I do not know the details about sending packages worldwide because I never worked it so .... I do not know anything about it

Well I saw a video where a man is standing on the wheel support, which is fixed by these three little bars, and it's doesn't move at all, I assume it is efficient.

me too, but everything is in a box (the seat is much larger then playseat or any other cockpit)

both solutions are stable, but the final solution is better (no welding, no scratches, better feeling when you sit, customer can paint the steel rods ...)

rinoseat will be able to perfectly handle the new Thrustmaster T500RS wheel and pedals (the wheel holder and the pedal holder are extremely strong)

yes, but it is simple (you can wash the seat cover or you can order the other colors or model or change sponge, the seat will never grow old)

the welded solution ... you need only the TIG welding machine
the 3-bar unit ... you need CNC bending, CNC lathe and CNC drilling

rinoseat has 96 screws + xxx holes + xx bended tubes (can you imagine how much production needs to be precise)

Really, I saw the video also, and imagined the 3 bar was for this. But could have solved better (and a more aesthetic) by adding a flat piece of aluminum prototype 3:
