Rinoseat - What Happened??

I will do as if I didn't read it, and would believe when the product will be at home. Renato is very kind, but he said a lot of things which were totally wrong since I oredered, with delays and delays again, "it will be shipped next, week", the week passed, "it will finally be shipped next week", the week passed, "we sent dozen of rinoseat to croatian customs today", the week passed "there will be 7-10 days delay" ...

Well... Three week between the order and delivrery in normal condition is already long, when there are delays on it, it's a bit annoying, when there are delays on the delays, it's too much, even though we are the first buyers for this product.
 
He told me that he is very angry because of long delivery time via regular postal service. As an example he showed me shipping status for a delivery to Spain which took more than 2 weeks.
Unfortunately, that is the only way because he already checked with courier companies - 300 EUR to Australia!!

So, CPA, I wouldnt give up. Be patient and it will show eventually. I can understand your position - I drove my wife and our friends 700 km instead of 550 on our way back from weekend in Vienna just to stop in Zagreb and meet Renato.
I can tell you that he is really good and decent man. And, real simracing fan 👍
 
I'm sure he is. But I still don't get it. When I ordered the first Rinoseat, it took 5 weeks between the payment and the delivrery. And the shipment takes an average of one week from Croatia to France.

The fact is, to me, the customer, the product is still not shipped. I didn't get any tracking number, any shipment notification. So to me, the normal post service is not the matter. I might not understand everything though.
Do the products are stuck in croatian customs?

I know complaining isn't usefull, but man, 2 months for a product I guessed there were in stock, while it's been said 3 week for preparing and sending the product? Come on...

on last Friday we sent dozen of rinoseats to our forwarding company and croatian customs (including your)
i also asked for an explanation why so many differences in the delivery (and still waiting - croatian post office forwards the package within 1 or 3 days and it is good)

why do you say 2 months (your shipping date was 22.12, we sent to forwarding company last Friday)

we have next delivery on next week and then perhaps there remains only a few the old orders

Can you follow up on my shippment and trace it. It is nearly double the time that was estimated by Croatia Post.

Me thinks it has been nicked.

They say that the deadline for appeal after 30 days.
See above that for Europe can be more than 15 days (sometimes 3 days)

Please, don't forget: We take the responsibility about any lost or broken parts of Rinoseat in transport, and we will send you the replacement!
 
Have that upright pedal position been tested with "perfect pedal" mod for G25 brake pedal, or something similar that makes the needed braking force increase a lot? I see a long lever arm there that will even further increase the force applied to the four round studs. Won't they give in at all? What is the max. force allowed for braking?

If you have a vid of this pedal arrangement being used, I'd really much like to see it.

Yes, tested.
the four round studs are the four steel rods 10mm diametar
the max. force to be used for braking <<< the force that should be bending the four steel rods 10mm diametar

P.S. the CAD pictures don't show all details between the upper and the lower tube)

If the pedals are totally stationary, the solution is great 👍

Only thing that might be missing is independent longitudinal adjustment for the pedals right?

no, because we can redesigned the steel holders (longer, shorter, any angle ...), but the rinoseat has many adjustments (seat slider, pedal distance, wheel distance ...)

we can even add this for each the pedal independently (see pic in attachment - blue) but I think it is not necessary

I didn't mean 2 months of delay (2 months for the whole thing, which is indeed not passed yet). I should say "if it takes 2 months, it will be too much".

I have to say the real purpose of my "rude" post was to get some news from you 💡 . Now i'm a little more confident. I hope you understand our disapointment (and I'm sure you are disapointed too because of shipping issues).

So thank you for the update, the inverted pedals option is stunning!
 
When people bought the Rinoseat GTR back in October to now, did you know this was a pre-order? Or were you under the belief that this was ready for sale?

@raceline ... we received in october and november no more then 10 orders, but then xx in only one month ... this is the main reason for the increase in production in january and my words ... soon, we will be up to date ... i am finally satisfied with the rinoseat (as a creator of the rinoseat)

So far it has delivered more then 50 rinoseats (in last three weeks).

No, we will not offer the old rinoseat.
The new rinoseat is lighter and shorter then the old rinoseat (thanks to aluminium and C style of seating).

We will be offering a new models (Rinoseat GP and Rinoseat GT).
GP ... F1 style
GT ... like GTR but with different type of seat


So you're saying in October/November you sold no more than 10 Rinoseats. But come 20 December 2010 you've posted 50! That's alot considering people everywhere are questioning to the whereabouts of their seats. Yet on 15 January 2011 you post on this thread on GTPlanet the below quote. If you sent 50 in December why can you only show us 8 tracking numbers with 6 delivered. 6 out of 50??? First one in red delivered on 15 January 2011, but more importantly! remembering first 50 posted by 20 December, the earliest quote shows 4 January. Why not show some of these 50 from 20 December?



And the reason I ask about Pre-orders is because I've seen you post recent replies on forums about people knowing that we were all pre-ordering. I don't ever recalling reading "pre-order" anywhere on my order. I wanted to find out if anyone else knew of this as well, and I believe I'm entitled to ask this.

But stop posting excuses and comments which don't back up your actions. It is unfair to all who have paid and are waiting, and misleading to potiential customers.
