OK, the download speed is back to normal and I was able to see the Cote run. I did a side by side comparison to the video, the computer on the right side of my screen, and my Cote run on the left side. I notice his car accelerates a lot quicker then mine. Why? The first right turn, up the steep grade, he gets there quicker, and the run just started. Then, up the hill, he gets to the top about 3 to 4 tenths of a second quicker than I do, and I fly through that first right turn faster than he does. Let me explain.
I did a comparison of not only the entire run, but at certain points of the run. The tunnel, the long steep straight,, the first right turn, etc and he is slower going through the turns then I am, but when he hits the straights, he blows me away. How is that? Fast turn exit, means faster down a straight, doesn't it? This is very odd. The biggest place to notice something odd happening is at the tunnel. Starting from the fountain, just before the tunnel, and at the tunnel entrance, I can beat him, but once he hits the tunnel, he leaves me in the dust.
Odd as it seems, I cannot forget that running the same test over, and over again, the tires on your vehicle seem to get better grip with each pass. Maybe he ran the test so many times, that his tires completely out perform my tires.
Well, anyway, he is very good, but something does seem very odd.
