Santa did exist, but we keep his legacy alive for spoiling the crap out of our kids. My older sister told me he doesn't live anymore.

When the presents stopped having "Santa" signatures on them. I never believed in him existing in the first place anyways.

Only at a very young age I believed in Santa. Quite strange considering I totally believed unbelievable claims from people when I was growing up.

I read the OP of this thread. *sniffle*

My parents were pretty good about keeping the belief alive. Eventually I was able to grow up and figure out that it was impossible.

Anybody remember the Santa Tracker that shows him going across the Earth? Always a great Christmas Eve watching the little sleigh go around from Germany to Brazil. Only stopped like 4 times per country, sometimes once. That's when I was 100% sure he didn't exist.

Exactly what I was thinking, when I first saw this I thought hampus created it.

+1
There is two people I have little respect for in GTPlanet - Spoil-t, and hampus(whatever his full name is).

My brother and I pretty much figured it out on our own, but we weren't depressed by it or anything. After all, we still got the same amount of presents :D

My uncle taking me to Toys R Us to pick my present a few years in a row eventually gave it away.

Santa does exist!! I just saw him in his usual throne and cardboard house in my neighborhood mall with kids on his lap, in front of a photo-shoot camera!

I sensed something was amiss when after a few years of setting milk and cookies out for Santa, one year my dad said Santa would prefer a beer instead of milk.

Now that I'm older I realize the concept of Santa is not far fetched. A big fat guy with a beard, who only visits once a year and brings gifts in exchange for food.

I think I know a couple Santa's.

Whew! Man! I was scared for a minute. This thread almost crushed the dreams of a 22 year old kid. Shame on this thread!

I got proof at the age of 8.

I ended up finding my "Santa presents" in the closet on Christmas Eve, so that kind of ruined it there. I'd had the feeling that he wasn't real since I was 6, but I just let myself believe because it was fun. And even after finding out I pretended to believe because my parents enjoyed it:D

Best part is when he flies over Newfoundland.

EDIT: On second though, 2003 Persian Gulf takes it for the jet engine:

Found all my presents in the basement during Nov when I was 8 or 9.

I figured it out when I was 7 or 8 I think, I just thought about it and knew how ridiculous the idea was. I just pretended to believe in Santa from that point on so I could get more presents . My brother is 13 and still claims to believe in Santa, but I really doubt he does.

So how many people have found where your presents were hidden, and didn't tell anyone so your parents didn't change their hiding place? :sly:

Norton santa tracker showed the same survaillence videos of him every effin year D:<

And i saw my dad putting the presents in when i went to go get some water.

My dad used to say I should put out mince pies and a glass of whiskey for him because he'd need it on his busiest night of the year.

I realised he wasn't real when I got up to pee and saw my dad eating the pies and drinking the whiskey.
