Its just fustrating that they dont just tell us may 31st date, rather than the lies they churn out. I can't see how all of their customers are going to regain trust into the service again. They're going to take a massive hit, well they have already.
 
I'd always expect "a few days" to mean more than 2 and less than 7.

I imagine this done wonders for xbox sales, not that they don't have problems of their own, mind.

Apparently,it's 2 free games per user now (I hope these will be 'free and clear' and not linked to ongoing PSN+ membership) - it should be 1 game per week of outage.
 
I've gota feeling the games will be linked to ps+ subscriptions.

I like the themed races idea! but maybe with a bit higher pp limit to get a wider range of cars.
supposedly the developers network is up without an account creation tool, but that could be garbage. but hopefully we can race next week, that'll have been a month. two thumbs down sony.

Bad, I'm not the worlds best gearbox tuner (aka doesn't know anything about ratios) and I'm getting a 2:05 with the GTR.

I'm thinking about trying a Corvette and see what I get.
I'd almost want to know exactly what you guys are using and if I could improve the "tunes" you're using.
 
I'm in the same department as you for the gearbox tuning fishy. So i aint bothered tuning my ratios yet, not until i get a further knowledge of it all. I'm getting in 2:04's though without tweaking the gears.👍
 
Yes its back! installing update as we speak, the race may be next week but i suppose you could host a practice/test session throughout the week.

so excited.:)

I came in last night to find the update was ready to be downloaded, but in the UK at least, there's still no sign of life on PSN.

Back to setups, for all those using the CSL, have you done much testing with & without the bolt on rear wing?
 
Well... Since the next Saturday seems reasonable, I'm thinking about another car I will try. (Yeah, it's a BMW.)
But I'm looking forward to the coming race, and how I'm gonna get my ass kicked. :sly:

PSN went live in the UK at about 1900 but apparently it's back down again, don't know why or when it will be back though but i'm sure it's just down to them adding features such as the store.
 
Still putting some countrys up by the looks of things, a few are also having connection issues in the uk. But who knows, the network might get stronger as its only just been switched on today.👍

So, the 1st race is on for this Saturday. Can you all confirm please that you will be racing. Any that havn't by this time wednesday will recieve a PM from me to just remind them, if i havn't heard anything by friday then the reserve list goes into action! :)

On top of this, by 2000 uk time on friday (and each friday after) i will need you to submit what car you will be using. Thanks.

I'm in and sticking with the M3 CSL for race 1. Made it into the .04's since I took the wing off - dunno how consistent that's going to make me tho.

What time will you be opening up the room?
